Wow this was great! Can you please do more gameplay of someone blundered? I would like to see abit more with artillery and is it ok if you also show us the deck of cards used for your order so we know how the deck of cards work? Anyways this was an interesting video, I hope you make more of these (:

Very nice video: entertaining gameplay and curious analysis at the end, thanks for sharing! It is interesting to see you clearly rooting for the team human, as I was rooting for ChatGPT hoping it does at least something right 😁. Do you think the game status update prompts could be improved / given more often to raise the battlefield awareness of the system?

Well yes, I have a bad habit of being bias towards myself in solo play. It's why seeing how Chat would go was an intriguing prospect. Also, I agree the prompts could have been better. Perhaps dividing the battle field into further section to aid in the ai's orientating. But one problem I've noticed is that data input for the AI becomes very time consuming. If only ai was being developed to navigate a dynamic visual environment...wait...isn't that smart car technology.

I don’t think it is a bad habit, I also have favourites in my solo games 😁. This is a very good point. To have access to a similar volume of information as the human player the model needs to get a detailed description of the whole table every turn. Alternatively one could extract the most important bits (e.g. you contest field 1, control field 2, …) which is still a lot of work. So thanks again for committing to this exciting experiment. Indeed, key locations should probably be noted to the system. Although I think in its current state, without plugins for handling visual data and precise calculations, ChatGPT would shine in more high level games. You have chosen a very fitting game in my opinion. Maybe Kriegsspiel of a sort, where players can heavily rely on written text, would also yield interesting results. Once again thanks for the video. Very thought provoking 😁

No, to my shame I'm a cheap skate Luddite. There spray painted Risk figures.
