It is wonderful that now florists do not have to default to buying flowers that have come across on boats, but have the benefit of those like Georgie who grow flowers right there in England. The benefits to everyone cannot be minimized at all. The freshness alone trumps all! "Life began in a garden", and I hope that most bouquets now sold in England will have begun IN England.

I think we still import 85% of our cut flowers into the UK but that's 5% less than when I started growing flowers for sale 15 years ago x
