So good to see you in better spirits! I missed commenting the other day, but I just got you some coffee - not much but hopefully every little bit helps. Javier Marías and I don't seem to get along. I've DNF'd two of his books now. (He was Castilian Spanish, not Catalan, btw, that can be a touchy subject...) Hehe, the picture on the cover of the Muriel Sparks book looks like the Flying Nun! Embers is on my TBR, glad to hear you're enjoying it.

I’ve recently applied for a job out of my field (I’m a retired school teacher). I’m very nervous about interviewing since my last interview was more than 25 years ago. Praying you are selected for the position!! I’m confident that I will get the job if it’s meant to be. I also believe you will get the perfect position for your needs. 🫶🏼
