U can get a loaded up one , the “C” version , tell me what it lacks ? It costs under 43 with 363 hemi . It’s a good looking car that doesn’t carry a 1000 a month note ! Plastic is in every car until you get over 60; and even then u find plastic , and under that little tray in console is the access to get car out of park if battery dead . U can’t buy ford or GM product under 50 that has what one of these has on them , I’m talking “c” not base .

calvin Nunnally I agree, I just got a 2019 Chysler300C with all the options. The interior is beautiful , deep mocha diamond pleated, with the same leather rolled stearing wheel , double sunroof, voice activation, well, you get the picture. I traded my 2005 Chrysler 300C , with the 2019 with all the safety features that made my 05 really obsolete, I loved it for 15 years , but was afraid they wouldn't make 2020 's . To tell the truth , there isn't much difference in the 2018 and the 2019 , so if they do make a 2020 I'd be surprised if they make any real improvements. Except for the date on the title !

That “odd little area” where you can keep your key lifts up so that you can pull the red tag to put it into neutral if the battery is dead and you need to tow it. It doesn’t make it cheap it is a good feature to have

The 300S isn’t s luxury car what the hell! . The 300C platinum DEFINITELY is. Italian leather or something like that( hard to pronounce ) over the whole interior and trim panels doors and all ! Some leather I’ve never even heard of. And did you just knock on the infotainment screen , steering wheel and gloss black trim and call it hard?😭😭 what gloss black is soft ? Are you kidding. The BMW and Mercedes you refer to all have hard plastic as well. I’ve had several BMW’s and Mercedes. All cars have the plastic now days unless you are into the 6 figure cars. This car feels more luxury than both my previous 335i and c300. The v6 has 300 HP. More than you will get on the cars you mention. Step up to the Hemi. You won’t get the luxury and HP in any other luxury car for less than 75k

Just so you know under that plastic tray is a lever to move it from park into neutral in case the battery may die, then you can get it into gear after jumping.

6:55 what you saw was a lever with a red ribbon attached to it. In scenarios where you need to shift your transmission into neutral without starting up the engine, you pull that red loop hard (because the lever is under tention)

Yeah your expectations were way too high for the 300 lol. And 36k is reasonable for that car. It doesnt compete with the top of the line like you keep comparing it to. It competes with impalas and the Taurus and avalon not mercedes and audi and bmw which are in a different price segment. The only thing you can kinda compare with the upscale brands is the ride quality.

The guy didn't even mention that this is built on the Mercedes E-class platform or that it comes in AWD or RWD options... this is a unboxing video not a review... This guy did no research... He didn't even drive the car... and yes it has 300 HP out of the model S, I would say those are impressive numbers considering the V8 only puts out 63 more hp. I watched this video for an informed opinion... But i got a kid who has no idea how to review a car.

So much wrong in this video. The luxury cars you're comparing to, are compacts for the same price or a little less. This is a full size, not even a mid-size, but a full size. You're also very misleading with how you clarify the pricing. At first you make it sound like $36,000 isn't high enough to be considered a luxury car, then later you say that $36,000 is way too high and compare it to luxury branded compacts. A fully loaded, full size, Impala or Taurus, costs the same with less features and also not nearly as attractive. Only thing I even see wrong in the cabin is the material that the top dash is made out of. Everything else inside speaks luxury as it does on the outside. Two large LCD monitors? Countless customizations via both screens at that. Come on man. This car competes with Mercedes, BMW, and Audi's full size sedans which cost twice as much. Please make sure you're comparing to the right class. Price isn't everything and really, if anything, should speak volumes for what few corners FCA actually cut to offer this car at that price.

The Audi A8 is literally the top of the lineup, designed to compete with Porsche and even some Bentleys. I know because I've driven it. I'm talking about cars like the A3 and A4, both in the 30-40k price range and far more comfortable than anything Chrysler can offer.

Those are compacts, which I have also driven and owned, they do not compete with this car in comfort or performance, again, other than the material used on the top of the dash if we're going to keep nit-picking. The A8 is a full size, which is what this car is, granted, for twice the price, I better get more, but the thing is, while you do get more, it's not really much more to constitute the price difference.

I never compared the 300 to a 7-series, I compared it to a 3-series. This is a fair comparison because they are priced somewhat close together. And I can almost garuntee I have driven more cars than you, regardless of age 👍

If the 300 was at/under/or around 30K USD that would be one thing but there is a reason why FCA advertises this as a cheap "luxury" sedan, CHEAP being crappy FCA interior. I am no fan of 15 year old cheap Chrysler Daimler era parts bin. The Charger/Challenger and 300 use the LX platform (which is a former Mercedes platform). Many of the parts are a mix of dated cheap Italian and German left overs. The older 300s interiors from a decade ago were nice for that time period, in 2020 the 300 does not hold up against any German, British or Japanese luxury sedan. Now to be fair, for American cars the 2015+ Challenger&Charger interiors are nice! But the 300 lacks seriously behind.
