It’s our first day in Sydney, Australia and it’s going to be another epic day finding all the best food spots in the city! We got a lot of recommendations from chefs and locals in the area, so we’re spending the day trying out the top most recommended restaurants and food spots to share with you, including a budget breakdown of all the food we ate. Come with us as we try Spice Alley, a hawker center in the middle of downtown Sydney, followed by a walk along the famous Darling Harbour, and we end the day trying Kangaroo Steak and Crocodile Burgers at Meat District Co while watching the sunset along the harbor. Watch out for part 2 of this series coming next week, as we find more amazing food spots in Sydney!

I’m late to the party. Kangaroo is super easy to overcook and it is so unpleasant if it’s overcooked.

Yes we do eat emu. Not as easy to come in the bigger cities as Kangaroo but yes it is on the menu. Our First Nations are also allowed to eat turtle and Dugong.

I love Kangaroo but cant find a place i can trust to cook it properly....usually i wouldn't go down there as its a tourist area, but i might have to! Thanks...
