I was at this game! I went to Denver to visit my sister. Not expecting much. I got drunk as hell and was just laughing my ass off all game. Jamal could have set the NFL record for rushing that day, but he sat out the fourth quarter. If Denver would’ve won the game, they would’ve made the playoffs. Incredible 😂

My first NFL game was at Arrowhead. My mother-in-law used to get us tickets 9 rows up from the field on the 40yd line behind the Chiefs bench. Similar situation, with the Chiefs out of the playoffs but a win and Denver was in. Chiefs thumped them that day and the Donkey's didn't make the playoffs. I still remember how great the seats were and how LOUD Arrowhead was!! That's probably been 20 yrs ago.

Me either, and that's a true fan. I've been a Chiefs fan for 60 years and no matter how bad it got some years, I would tell myself I'm through with them and every year I'd be looking through draft to see who they got and cheering them on no matter what. A true fan loves their team like that and I love them more now than 60 years ago when I took a picture as a kid with Len Dawson. Go Chiefs!

Only NFL game I've ever been to in person. January 3, 2010. I remember a woman behind me telling her friends "why do they keep giving him the ball, the broncos know he's getting the ball". That was about halfway through the 3rd quarter and I checked and he was over 180 yards at that point. I really believe he would've broke 300, but he pulled himself out of the game halfway through the 4th quarter to let some other players get some reps.

That was the same year we started 6-0 and finished 8-8. We also treated a week 5 win over New England like we won the Super Bowl. Don't forget who our HC was. Josh McDaniels. That was the most Josh McDaniels season anyone could have. It doesn't just end there, though. We also lost at home to Jamarcus Russell in embarrassing fashion a couple weeks earlier.

Charles was bad. The cheifs used to draft beasts in the backfield because they didn't have a dynamic quarterback, now they draft complimentary backs, who catch, block, can get runs off occasionally, til IP, he's a beast of old, runs hard, and we have the most dynamic quarterback of my 64 year lifetime
@riltalk40554 ай бұрын
Priest Holmes, Jamaal Charles & Larry Johnson. What’s up with Chiefs having running backs with incredible primes that last for a short span(I know it’s undoubtedly the most brutal but replaceable position in the sport)?
