Communism and world domination you mean? Edit: Wow , I am surprised how many people come to China's defence despite the public knowledge of what China is doing and has done in terms of human rights vioation, tech espionage etc. And those saying they are just here for seeing the technology and becoming happy after seeing 'more competition', should remember that every bit China gets more independent of western companies makes it one reason less for it to not go to war, or at least be more aggressive (i can't imagine though how much more aggressive the world needs to wait for China to become before taking a concrete action)
@makasete304 жыл бұрын
Yeah, they’ve stolen and copied everything they need to over decades. They’ve now bought western companies to develop their own high tech stuff to get on an equal footing, and the next step is to dominate the market and push ahead. One of the greatest fuckups ever was making China the factory of the world, having trade advantages that no one else had, and letting it go on for far too long. There were other options. The west got too greedy and created a Nazi monster. Even though the world now realises how evil the CCP is going to be and are moving their factories out, it’s far too late. The fact China doesn’t mind going after foreign citizens in other countries, and reacts like North Korea every time it receives criticisms should be concerning as it is, but then there is how it treats Hong Kongers, Uighurs, etc.all these warnings... But on the bright side, some people are looking forward to what the Chinese market has to offer. Dear god help us...
@shauryakalia32964 жыл бұрын
@agapp11able really? You see no difference in US domination or Chinese? I would prefer no domination, but if I had to choose one, it would be EU domination or American domination over Chinese any day. And as to why, its because the way they treat their own people, I wouldn't expect them to treat others any better. I value the freedoms I have. I can mock Trump or Clinton or Obama even sitting in US, but try that in China with Chinese leaders. Your words will be censored and you would have a nice visitation by police, who would make you understand why you were wrong and make sure you are not wrong again. I can write essays on why China is the worst candidate for being dominant superpower (even Russia is better), but I don't wish to because it will fell on blind sights, and the others already know. If you still doubt me, just see the services that are banned in China (youtube, facebook, twitter etc) and wonder why

Looking at the IO, this is for industrial usage. A real test would be running an RTOS like Ntime on it.
@corwinweber6934 жыл бұрын
Or just a base Windows or Linux install that focuses on software like SSH and terminal clients..... with that IO, I'm gonna guess that this is much more geared toward accessing network devices and possibly industrial machinery (like CNC) than anything else. I mean seriously, these days why else would anything have a serial port on it?

While the tech aint great right now, I would really love a more technical look at how this works, and how it's improving. Is it different from other CPUs in interesting ways on a techincal level? I'm really excited for this series of china made techs coming up. I love LTT videos that explore things that are outside of most people's periphery.
