When we were kids, my Mom made these chip bag keychains with us. I've always wanted to make them again since having kids of my own. These didn't turn out quite as good. I started off with large chip bags. They say that the bags only shrink to about 25% of what it was, so that made these still too large for my liking.
It's pretty easy to make these, you just have to play around with the temperature and time a bit. I started out at 200f for 10 minutes, but found that the oven wasn't quite hot enough. So, I adjusted it to 300f, but that was too much. So I had to put it somewhere in the middle. And I ended up putting some of the bags in longer then the 10 minutes, as they didn't shrink much with the lower temperature and time. So, if you're going to try this at home, you'll need to play around with it and see what works for your oven.
