I want to clarify something! When I said that The Big Bang being stated as facts is anti-Christian, I should have been more specific (forgive me!): it’s anti-Christian when stated as facts APART FROM our Creator God. We can be Christians and believe that The Big Bang happened, but the key thing is that we believe God created whatever “big bang” there might have been. “Taking God out of the equation” (as this book did in the paragraph I’m referencing) *is* anti-Christian. Our God is Creator and that is key.

Hi Lydia! Thank you for sharing the valuable videos and I really appreciate that. Your videos have made me strong in Jesus Christ. Actually I'd like to find healthy churches in England so I've serched about it online but it's not easy to find haha. So could you recommend healthy churches in Britain, please? I'd like to listen to sermons from healthy churches in England really :)

Oooo this was interesting. I think Tim would love this book from what you said. His taste is a lot more literary fiction than mine is. We will have to discuss further!xxx
You've read it already! That's good going for a review Lydia! Looking at the blurb it strikes me as being written in a pastoral theme, which may be why there wasn't such an emphasis on character development. On a tangent I once read "American Pastoral" by Philip Roth, which focuses on a few characters. While the character development was really strong, there wasn't a really strong plot line through most of the book. Back to this book! Did you get any sense that the author researched some of the points of view presented in the book? P.S. I see you have dominion by Tom Holland on your bookshelf. Have you read it? 🙂

@@josephwalliker6162 this is my first time learning about pastoral theme! Thanks Joseph. I definitely got a sense there was a lot of research behind the book yes, or at least a lot of pre-existing knowledge! And I haven’t read Dominion yet, but it’s been recommended to me ☺️🙌🏼
