If you're searching around for which version of A Christmas Carol to listen to... YOU FOUND IT! The voice actor is sublime and honestly I was crying so hard at the end. He made the characters feel so real. Loved this! I kinda wanna listen to it again from the start. Thank you.

Just listened to this all the way through. Well done, mate. Your professionalism really shows through. The distinct voices were great and I loved the little touches with music, clock sounds, etc. I read the book physically five years ago and liked the book just okay, but I enjoyed it much more this time. Well done and Merry Christmas 🎄🎁🎉!!

You're the man, PJ. I'm starting this audiobook right now. It might take me a few sittings to finish it but I'm getting ready to make dinner and this will be playing in the background. It's definitely one of my favorites. Even the movies, all of them have their good points, I like when a new set of actors plays the parts. Patrick Stewart's portrayal is my personal favorite though. I watch it every year. During the season. Have a Merry Christmas and happy holidays, PJ Hope your season is a good one. God bless.

Oh yeah! There's been some amazing adaptations of A Christmas Carol. It's really a timeless tale which is forever relevant. I think that's why it survives and keeps being retold. Enjoy mate!

This is so great. Thank you for making it for us!! I was impressed by your different voices, but much more by your different accents. Very creative and talented! But my favorite part of all is that Bob pretty much just sounds like you. It made me like him even more than I already did. :-)

Haha! I'm basically Bob Crachitt you're right lol. We both have that kind of Cockney accent. Im glad you liked the narration 😃.

Thank you for this J, listened to this on Christmas evening. Never read any Dickens before and have to say I'm a little bit disappointed; not in the writting style which I liked a lot but the fact that Scrooge doesn't change his ways through true altruism but through fear of percieved shame and eternal damnation! Still thank you, I utimately enjoyed the story (Sorry for the typing; few Ports on board)

The narration is very nice, indeed. However, I've discovered, as a result of over 15 y ears of independent research, that this version published by Charles Dickens wasn't the original version. He secularized and dumbed down a Spiritualist redemption story written by two Americans named Mathew Franklin Whittier and Abby Poyen Whittier.
@PaperbackJourneys17 күн бұрын
Thank you. Also, that's interesting. I didn't know the original version was vastly different.
