I always love Future, or Yet to Come whatever it's called, because it's normally just a silent black cloak and yet it's absolutely terrifying a lot of the time.

I love it too. I am always imagining that when Scrooge is about to fall into his grave, it will take of it's hood to reveal a ugly, scary, nightmarish face, just like Pete did.

I really like the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come (1984) because he's presented as a large, faceless wraith that makes a metallic screeching noise every time Scrooge asks him something.

I love the ghost of Christmas present he is by far my favourite as he’s so happy and merry and if you read the books he says he has 1800 brothers and the book was written in 1843 (around then) so it’s the Christmas present for that year and I find it really clever how dickens slipped that in but it’s sad because when Christmas is over that ghost dies and a new one is born for next year
@Eclipcore2 жыл бұрын
To be honest when i was a kid the 2009 one by Jim Carrey scared me especially when Ghost Of Christmas Present dies and the Ghost of Christmas Future comes and the Ghost Of Christmas Past's voice kind a give me chills. But now that i got older i starting to love them all. And all of them are my favorites🕯️🎄💀

Well the Ghost of Christmas Past looks different every time
@99lodewijk3 жыл бұрын
That's because it's description is the hardest to translate to film. I think the Disney version did it best as it supposedly looks like a candle. The other two ghost have always been described as rather human-like.
@sirorliktheironclad Жыл бұрын
Agree. The Ghost of Christmas Present is always like Santa and the Ghost of Christmas Future is always like the Grim Reaper. The Ghost of Christmas Past is depict in many ways as a taking candle, a Christmas Angel, Fairy, or a little kid. In some adaptations the ghost is depicted as being female, male, genderless, young, old, or ageless.

My favorite depictions are the Disney one, Muppet one, and and the Mickey Mouse one. My favorite Ghost of Christmas Past is the Muppet one, my favorite Ghost of Christmas Present is the Muppet and Disney one with Jim Carrey, and my favorite Ghost of Christmas Future is the Disney one with Jim Carrey. The Ghost of Christmas Past is the hardest one to adapt because in the book the ghost is described as ageless and genderless. Sometimes the ghost is depicted as boy or girl and is like an angel or a talking candle or is a little girl or an old man. The Ghost of Christmas Present is always Santa Claus like and is based on Father Christmas and the Ghost of Christmas Future is always depicted as the grim reaper.
