Hey, thanks for the review! I have a question for you. Did you find that pen tracking gets worse along the edges of the the screen, and even more so in the corners? Or was the pen tracking completely perfect for you everywhere on the screen? Since I also had the chance to try the tablet (bought and returned), here's a bit of extra info for the viewers that I think is worth mentioning: -This tablet does not come with a tablet stand, and the stand Rebel Pixels is using is an Artisul Freestyle Stand which comes included with the Artisul D13. -The pen button is a single button despite looking like two buttons. -The pen eraser cannot be customized to other keys or functions. -The rotating button can't be customized. It has zoom in/out and cursor size plus/minus as built-in functions, and the only option you have is to enable or disable the rotating button. Not exactly important information for everyone, but some people may be interested in this information. Anyways, thanks again for the review and keep up your good work Rebel Pixels!

Hey! These are all good points to add! I was going to leave a comment about the stand but I completely forgot, been up all night editing xP As for your question about the tracking, it does get a loose near the edges, but this is typical of every battery free, or EMR, pen display. Even Wacom's pen's do that. I found that the tracking only got bad near the far edges, and I never was drawing in that area, so it didn't seem like a major con to me. But not everyone will feel that way.
@nakushiro7837 жыл бұрын
That's not a problem at all, we understand and we're thankful about the time you took to give us this video x) Oh thank you, I just wanted to confirm that the pen tracking on the edges was a problem inherent in all Coast13s and not just mine. The reason why I asked about the pen tracking is because a few buttons are along the edges which I would rather not have trouble clicking (it's really just a small nuisance and not a big problem). For example, the File/Edit/etc buttons along the top left edge, the minimize/maximize/close buttons in the top right, the layer settings I have along the right edge, and the programs and Windows button on my taskbar along the bottom edge. I think the reason why I noticed it so much is because my Ugee HK1560 doesn't have any pen tracking problems along the edges.

im so torn, help a brother out? I've heard great things from the artist 16, great things from the gt 191 and great things from the parblo coast. what would you suggest is the best?

On Artisul D10. When they introduce tilt, I may make the jump. Not essential, but it helps in certain instances.

Nice review! But which would you recommend: this or the artisul D13? I plan on carrying it in my backpack everyday going to and from my studio, so weight is important - but not more important than having the least possible line-jitter, and best possible line-tracking. Thanks!

Honestly the two are pretty comparable. I'd give the hotkey nod to the Coast13, but I think I like the default pressure curve on the D13 a bit more. If you twisted my arm over it, I'd probably go Artisul, but it would be a tough decision
@Maikacir7 жыл бұрын
Rebel Pixels thank you for taking the time to reply! I'm sorry to spam you with all these questions, but you are the only one who have reviewed the Coast13 yet (and I actually think you know what you are talking about); Which of the two weighs the least? In a 'carry it in your backpack' kinda way. And which of the two would you say has the least line jitter? Thanks again!

go for a cintiq 13 hd,the price difference is not that big
@Maikacir7 жыл бұрын
the Cintiq 13 hd is €900, while the Artisul is €500. I'd say thats a pretty decent price difference.

huh this is quite good looking looked it up on amazon for like 449.00 and shipping alot better to say and buy rather then the huion tablets that everyone think is better. but I think this might be a true competitor to wacom. and as for huion not really..
@nakushiro7837 жыл бұрын
Who is this "everyone" you speak of? I personally think none of Huion's drawing monitors are worth their price except for the new Huion Kamvas GT-191 which has a big 19-inch screen with 1920x1080p resolution for only 500 USD. That is surely a worthy Wacom alternative tablet, is it not? Or do you dislike it just because it doesn't have expresskeys? If you're saying Huion isn't a true competitor because they only use recharging pens, you should rethink that line of thought. Huion's pens last around a month on a single charge, meaning, it doesn't get in the way of your workflow ever if you plug it in now and then.

Im actually thinking about getting this one now. I had the cintiq 13 hd but had to sell it, and it was good to work w the problem was lack of portability. And maybe i woulda prefered something smaller like the asus transformer mini. But this is looking really good! How long does the battery life last?

In which I'm really interested in the parblo coast 22, but there are not many reviews of it.
@trigonome7777 жыл бұрын
I saw it, it's practically one of the only videos on the Parblo, it's pretty good, but he miss some specific things, the video only had a speedpaint, where you can not really appreciate the strokes or limitations and capabilities of the tool. I talk a lot, but a picture is worth a thousand words.

Hello. Can i have a question? My budget is 600$ and there is so many alternatives for Cintiq. I don't know which is the best, because I'm not able to check any of them. I will use this tablet mostly for drawing, but in future maybe for sculpting in zbrush/blender too. I heard many good things about XP-PEN Artist 16, but I'm worried about screen size, and colors. Is this size enough? Colors are really that bad? Should I pay 100$ more for 20-22inches? What do you think, and which tablet could you recommend?

Is it necessary that the tablet like this Parblo Coast 13 or the Kamvas GT - 191 be connected to a computer / notebook for use? Or can I connect it and draw on it without a computer / notebook?

I'm stuck. Should I get this, or the Bosto 13HD? I honestly have no clue. The 13HD is WAY cheaper. I also want to consider the Mast10 (also from Parblo) but I don't know if 10' will be too small for my art (I go for a similar style as yours.) The Bosto 13HD looks really great for the price but it seems like it's a new product, so I can't find any reviews. Also, it runs on Wacom drivers, so...
There are some reviews for the tablet and its less than 400...
@purplequi99627 жыл бұрын
Sorry, doesn't ship to my country. Also, I didn;'t say this, but I'm looking for something 13 inches or under. But, if the Bosto turns out to be unreliable, I guess I can go for the Gaomon. It looks great for the price, but I'll see if I can find it on aliexpress or ebay.
