You can't buid the F40 into A class anymore. That's why you are stuck at 210

Hi Alex I did letter for or number etc.. You F40 A Tier build Its not matching I cant get it to drop down to A A+ is the lowest I went over this build multi times and then some My specs are exactly as yours are 152TP/0-60=153/HP388/MT337/1/4=12.4. PARTS: SPORT/BASIC/BASIC/PRO/SPORT RS/SPORT/ELITE RD/PRO/ELITE GP/BASIC/SPORT/BASIC/SPR GP/SPR DFT/100%GP/2 CLK R/100%DWNFC/OFF/OFF.... A+ lowest it will go is there something Im missing? I have no clue how you guys are doing this I bought all parts in all categories tried them all for the F40 1987 period plz if you see something Im doing diff plz let me know? Thanks Alot for all you guys do this is the only one out of all the builds I have done of yours that cant match up the rest are flawless Once again thanks.

They updated the game almost a week ago and removed the f40 from going into A class since it was too overpowered

Ford GT came in A class with similar specs and same finish times. Check it.

The Ford GT is 100KG heaver in game and has a little worse gear ratios. We have it build in most classes, overall it doesn't preform at the same level as this F40.

You said you and your crew set a lot new laptime records with this car. So far I cannot achieve any new record. Some races the Pista wins easy, others the GTS Cabriolet, which has a better top speed. I dunno because the F40 is the easiest to drive by far, very forgiving. But I don't get records with it.

The Pista is not allowed on any of our record sheets. It's a broken car with 999hp in A class. If you use that as a baseline you're going to be unsuccessful with any other car.

I just had a race in A class with my F40 with your build against a Testarossa and he smoked me easily. So check the Testarossa out for A class.

I have a video for the Testarossa already on my channel. It was the first B,A,A+,S,S+ video I did about 2 weeks ago. The reason you got smoked is because the Testarossa goes 173mph in A class and it will take every speed track. The F40 is the best handling car and will do way better on the short track. You need to know your playlists so you know what car to select.

Try the camaro ss 67'. Not easy to handle but tremendous power. For the f40 I put the elite regular suspension, basic induction, sport fuel system and single turbo. That gives a bit more hp and torque and the car still handles pretty well. (408hp)

We tried that. The extra HP and TQ didn't give any more top speed, so it was a wash. We opted for the handling as that will be the biggest impact on the lap times overall.

@@alexcornnut I think I have something that might be better than the f40. Never lost a race till now and beat some f40s. The gtr r34 with the 3.8 v6. It's amazing ! If you didn't try it yet go for it. Sport, sport, super, sport, elite roots, elite regular susp, sport, elite grip tires, sport, 6 speed gearbox. 100% grip. I slay everyone with this thing. 2:53 in "off the grid" on automatic and making some little mistakes

@@nelsonpinto0989 just for reference, our crew lap time is 2:42 on off the grid. When testing cars I try to shoot for 2:46-2:48 to validate it as a "good car" I am glad you like the R34. Maybe you missed it, but I already have a build on it for A class.

@@alexcornnut yours is equipped with the 2.6 if I remember well. Mine has the 3.8 and I'm not a great player and did the race on automatic. I think a good player on manual can do way better than 2:53

The developers updated the game after Vol#1 and made it so you can no longer drop cars more than 1 level below their starting class.

Goddam. Stop downgrading cars. It is F40! It should not be lower than S! I understand that you have to make interesting content, but shitty build's this just killing the game. F40 is to simle to drive for such speed. Shields up for A class skyline, eclipse and other normal cars!

As a player in NFS I search for the most optimal builds to go the fastest. ITS A RACE after all. The devs made the game this way. It is not my job to self moderate and choose not to build the best cars just because its "downgrading" the car. If you don't like it, don't use it. For the rest of us that want the best cars in any class, we will continue to seek out and build whatever we can find.

Yes for VOL#2 they changed how far a can can be downgraded. A+ is as low as it goes now
