Great base! I'm a bit insane, so I'm building an entire village. I stayed in the start area because of the room for building. Made houses/shops for each of the crafters. I built Balthazar's building out of bone, and lit it exclusively with the Luminescent blocks. Makes the whole place looks magical and creepy. I also use those blocks to make street lights. I just build a 4m column, and then put 2 single blocks of the luminescent material on each side of the top. The town includes a nice chapel to the Flame, and a town hall/tavern in the central square. ANd yes, I like to organize my storage too. lol

The crops that you put down will grow slowly unless you put down some farmland which the farmer can make for you. It will cut down the time needed for them to grow by about half you would have to use the build hammer to place it.

Fun Fact : you can save on mats by not using foundation blocks. The flat squares work just as well and take a fraction of the mats. If you end up with a gap around your edge you can either swap them for foundation blocks or grab the sideways pillar block and slide it under to fill the gap.

thats one of the parts i love the most on your channel. your creativity and the beautifull bases you build. no matter what game. i love it! Edit: if i would build that base i most likely would build an tower like an lookout or an belltower from a chruch on top of the flatroof of the base. and later on once im interested again in building maybe something like a well infront of the entrance or slightly shifted towards the garden and a windmill. since your so high up on the mountain a windmill makes sence to me. but i dont know how well the building sytem would work there with the blades of the mill for example.

The base looks amazing and beautiful. Your way of building bases and creativity is unmatched. I’ve never seen a build like what I just saw. Excellent. In the other hand, myself just go ahead and build a 3*6 blocks and add all the guys and girls with the boxes and tables in this space. Whatever makes the game progress is more than enough for me. 😂😂😂😂 a minimalist by nature.

I absolutely LOVE your time lapse construction videos, no matter what game you're playing. Since you're asking for suggestions, I would build a lookout tower on top of that tall peak near your base-kind of like Merlin's magic Tower, complete with a stair case going up, if possible.

You could finish the tunnel out and put a door at ground level to have a sectret backup entrance, Maybe hide the ground entrance with trees/bushes. Othrewise a great job.

That house looks so good. Something to look at would be to pull the top floor wall back a bit on the front facade of the building (just above the big door). Then you could put a little deck/patio space overhanging/overlooking the front door. Would break up the big square entrance a bit and give a nice aesthetic place to overlook the view from your mountain.

There's always a transition (or two) in survival games from starter base to late game base. It needs to happen and the sooner you make the transition the easier it is. Love your build! The lighting is really cool. I am one of those people who carefully organizes storage, but not because I like the organizing, just because I like knowing where things are. So if there's storage broadcasting I usually don't organize anything other than personal equipment stuff.

Base looks amazing! Upcoming battle is going to be fun to watch and, yes... this game is quite apt to squirrel moments as well as distances being very, very deceptive. Having died in that same, exact well, I can empathize. As much as I love the double jump and glide, it can work against you from time to time. 💖💖
@malguskerensky8 ай бұрын
The new base looks awesome, building in game may be the most fun part. A tip or two; if you don’t have it, respect for double jump and upward thrust. Both are great for moving around the world. Also a wand may be a better short to mid distance weapon over a bow, mostly due to the lack of ammo and that you can still block with a shield. - For the floor, might consider the fired brick (will need a Kiln and clay), it may be a good change of texture for the ground floor.

For your garden grab some of the farm soil you can find in village fields, You don't need much since using the hoe on it will spread the block infinitley ( same works on flower and dirt roads). Crops planted on the actual farm soil grow faster.

Love the build! In Woodgard, you can find some farm soil to help your crops grow faster. There is also flower soil you can pickaxe to add some flowers to your surrounding area to break up the grass ;) This tip is a bit cheesy but as a solo player, going up against the gorger matron is tough. If you throw a few explosive balls at her to trap her in a hole, i had an easier time.

Great build! I'm not much of a fan of the cross shape building but to each their own. I would suggest to include a watchtower for a higher base jump, and a basement for all the storage crates or to hide away some useful-to-have-but-horrible-to-look-at stuff. You can even craft a hidden floor door to avoid falling into it (since you like to fall down, apparently).

The house/base looks awesome. As per the link in my other comment, I've pulled down my original house and turned it into a farm. I have some ideas about what I'm going to put up to replace it, but I might just steal some of your design >.> A couple of tips - farm soil is also a building block and can be placed with the Construction Hammer. As per the tooltip, plants in farm soil will grow faster. For later on (when you get to it) bronze blocks make for amazing trim (and treasury walls, if you're down with that sort of thing)

Thing is, with the magic chests, you technically don't need to know which chest anything is in, BUT, of course, when you need to feed them workstations, thats when you definitely want, at least, some organization. I have seperate chests for catergories, as in, all metals in one, all woods in another, powders/liquids (anything in a bag or a dish) etc. Do at least some organization, to prevent headaches later on. I remember when I thought 4 medium sized magic chests would be plenty, for everything..................LOL😆🤣
