Hey Brock, great to see you give some air time to LS. I have had my LS for a couple of years now and I have had zero issues with mine. I have close friends with both green and orange tractors and I had put my LS up against their tractors and all three are extremely capable. One thing I will add is that where I live the LS dealer network is very good (2 dealers within 35 miles of where I live). My local dealership currently has four locations so far with great service.

Another great video, Brock. Keep up the good work! Mallard5 and Ohio Hilltops both have great content. Both channels do well at highlighting LS tractors. My wife and I met CJ and his family at the Paul Bunyan show and he is as nice in person as he is in his videos.

Thanks, Brock! A thought or two: If someone never heard of LS until this video, their takeaway might be, "Well, what is different with LS? They have a range of sizes and model series, varied horsepower in those series, and they have economy models. Big deal." But when I bought my LS in 2018, they truly did have features for less money than the competition. I see that gap closing. That's why tractors like Summit (ITL) show up. They are feature laden, but their network and access to support would scare me away. I think that is where LS still seems to be...dealer support scarcity. This rep didn't sell me, but since I already have an LS, my experience with a super reliable and capable machine let's me see past his presentation thinness. And, it's a farm show....they give the same spiel over and over and over. All this to say LS is good, for me, but they could lose ground if they don't keep up with support, supply, and features.

Great explanation. Even most of the green teams tractors are made overseas so I'm not sure why the stigma is still there for other tractors, they've all proven them selves over the years. I was really thinking on getting a Kabota if or when the next time i looked at a tractor as the Green side I felt they were just going for a "Locked in" mentality, least it seemed for me any way. I ended up getting a new '21 LS MT235He instead as it was over $8000 less. All tho, when i got the tractor I did have to wait literally a year for the rear remotes to show up and I would have had to wait for an unknown time for R1 tires other then the R4s that were on it when i bought it as LS gave you a choice of what tires you want. I did end up putting a Summit 3rd function on as I needed it right away. Didn't have to add a thing when the OEM LS rear remotes were installed. I've already put 250hrs the first year i had it. It was a supplement for my JD770 I've had for 25 years. Just wanted something bigger.

I have a new LS MT 573 with the shuttle shift. If I’m stabbing a bale of hay or hooking up to a tool on the front loader and feathering the clutch to move in very slowly I get a beeping sound then the tractor with disengage the transmission and as I let out the clutch it will re engage causing the tractor to lunge forward a few inches. Just enough to run the spear through the back wall of my barn. Dealer sent out a specialist and he explained what as happening is a feature that will not allow the operator to hold the clutch in a partially for more than 8 seconds or it will automatically throw the transmission out of gear. This feature cannot be turned off. Very annoying and I know it is only an amount of time when this jerking will break the transmission. Dealer said I have a 6 year warranty so don’t worry about it. Wonder what happens after 6 years and wonder how long I’m going to be without a tractor waiting for it to be fixed. I need to feed the horses everyday so I’m kinda worried about it. The tractor only has 29 hours on it. If anyone wants a 573 in or near Pa. We can talk.

Nice to see LS get a little attention on KZbin. Most of what we see is negative. When I was shopping for a compact tractor, I didn't make price a factor. I was willing to pay whatever as long as the machine fit my needs. What's amazing is how terrible most sales people I talked to are. Mist showed zero interest in selling anything and didn't share any knowledge about what they're selling. One guy told me he was on break and to make it quick. 🤷🏼‍♂️. The same thing when purchasing a side-by-side. Terrible sales people.

Thanks for watching. We spend so much money on these machines we need as much information as we can get. I’ve been trying to make review videos with long-term owners and test drives for as many brands as I can. Obviously couldn’t run the machines at this show What did you end up buying

@@RockhillfarmYT I went with a Yanmar YT 359, the more I use it the more I like it. Mostly used for property maintenance and firewood. Just purchased the Baumalite 3p24 (thanks to your review LOL), still waiting on delivery.

Have a Ls xg3140h 640 hrs on it bought new in 2017 replaced egr 3 times Ls warranty first 2 not 3rd talked to dealer also contacted Ls directly have made 6 tractor sales for them but no more, bad bearings in egr valve that I pulled apart they won’t stand behind last egr with 130 hrs on it now egr is becoming obsolete $20000 of scrap iron soon to be do your home work I went for price now it will cost me at least double

Don’t buy a LS Tractor. Corporate Headquarters doesn’t support there dealership in Thompson Ohio. So our tractor is sitting at the dealership waiting to see what LS is going to do about it. We bought a brand new on in April and is broke more than it runs.
