This video is so well done, interesting, and informative. I had no idea the ancient Greeks were so invested in and knowledgeable about the effects of diet on the human body. I can’t wait for the recipes!

This channel is addictive. So much value in a single video. This is the 3rd video I'm watching today and not a single video felt less valuable than other.

Ancestral nutrition. Something I utilize with ALL of my Personal Training clients. Live and eat as our ancestors did, to walk in their footsteps and know their strength. Keep in mind our ancestry determines what we should be eating. Just because I am Italic and Grecian in Ancestry does not mean the diet of my ancestors will work the same for you or your kin. We are all of us different, and it is time to recognize our differences and lean into them.

Awesome video as always, can you recomand any books on pankrateon and ancient greek wrestling? I want an referance book for an writing idea i have that may or may not be ever realised but i want to give it a try.
@AMOPankration2 жыл бұрын
I'm afraid I do not have a book that I would suggest as a comprehensive source of information for Pankration. The best source(s) for Pankration are the direct ancient Hellenic sources (e.g. text, amphorae) as well as their associations with traditional-competitive martial arts either from the region (boxing/GR-wrestling) or elsewhere (Muay Thai/JJ-groundwork, etc.). Any comprehensive book will necessarily include the author's interpretations of existing data which is many-times (most-times) misconstrued.

Very cool info! I would agree with the guy who said a high fat diet is valuable. My diet is high in animal fats and olive oil, a good amount of animal proteins, vegetables, and nearly no carbs or sugars. Lost most of my superfluous body fat, have gained muscle quickly at the gym, and my body feels better than ever before in memory.
