I heard about this earlier today, that is scary. Luckily I guess it happened during daylight hours and the first responders minimized the danger and damage.

It was very scary. The fire started around 9:30AM.

Well, it probably only happened because it was daylight hours...at the time when people were doing things, such as heating cooking oil which is evidently one of the suspected causes...if not the cause. You can see many KZbin videos of cooking oil causing a huge flame in people's kitchens. In this case, a lot of flammable material in the stall coverings for it to spread to and so voila, it got out of control fast.

I heard the fire on news in the afternoon on Spanish television at 5:30 pm during my lunch hour at my job in Miami. Thank God no one was hurt. Thank you Action Kid for letting us know about this.

Fire is so scary. Thank goodness it was contained quickly AND that it no one was injured! Relieved to see the carousel wasn't damaged. Sad for the vendors. Those who are selling clothing articles will be impacted with the stench from the fire in the fibers. Thanks for the on-the-scene aftermath! 👍
