most likely since it's a struggle between you and the monster but idc personally much if it has mashing or not, and I'm assuming if it has a mashing or qte, fail it and you will get punished by getting pinned or possibly get carted if you are low, but if you win it, you and your team can have a huge dmg window and a downed monster, pretty rewarding, and going by trailers alone ,weapons with blocking mechanics in focus mode can initiate it by timing it with their blocks and it's not an automatic threshold so, you may have that option not to do it if this is the case, Players will see on release or clips from CCs
