The slender trunk and long petioles on your palm remind me of the nova. Such an elegant palm and exotic-looking. I read about it's supposed similarities to ukhrulensis but (although I'm not comparing like with like as my ukhrulensis is an immature palm) mine is nothing like this palm. Bar your jubaea it's my favourite palm in your garden. A true specimen plant and I'm glad I've clapped eyes on it in the flesh. Was it a private sale you acquired it from all those years ago?

Yes it's right up there with my Jubaea as my favourite palm. These were sold once by Amulree for £25 in a pre order sale

@Yorkshire Kris Exotic Gardening Just like Larry in Hot Tub Time Machine who invested in Google to rename it "Loogle" by travelling back in time, imagine if you'd had the foresight to buy another one at the time. You literally could have controlled the world's oreophilus market🤣. Beautiful palm. I hope you find the other half to your palm so seeds can be made👍
