My first game was Northampton Town when I was seven in 1964.We won 4-1 that was in the old 4th division and I always remember watching the game from the stanchion of the floodlights.My dad had put me there for safety because of the huge crowd I think but not sure about 14,000.Ever since that time I have supported them faithfully good times and bad. They are forever my team.

We over our history, have predominately resided in the Old "Third & Fourth Divisions" so we have left League Two (the old fourth division) and now we are in League One (the old third division). We need to establish ourselves in this league ... once that is achieved we should try for The Championship (the old second division).
