Absolutely!!! This man care so much about the health safety and comfort of all the animals on his farm that he cares for! He does an amazing job at caring for all the creatures, and I only wish and pray farmers around the world were just as caring for their livestock, and what they have on their farms, regardless of how the animal will end up all creatures great and small, have the right to comfortable safe life healthy life until they’re used for what they’re intended.

When social creatures are segregated, they do get stressed because that’s not how they were made to live solitary! He did the right thing by returning him and you weren’t wrong for taking him out you were unaware and he showed you and his own way and you listen that shows others that you care. You are a good caregiver for all your animals. You’re a great soul.

I did have her in the house for a trial period, she didn’t do very well…crying all day & night, peeing & pooping in the couch etc. I felt she missed her family & put her back. She’s a very cute fluffy girl and I’ll just keeping working with her.

I’m amazed how well all your cats get along in that enclosure .. most cats are very territorial when you have more than one. But. You have a lot of fun things to occupy them too, so maybe that’s why they don’t fight … 👍🏻

I just want to tell you how much I look forward to your videos throughout the week… I didn’t realize it until a few minutes ago when I was letting my dogs out and I had paused the video (or thought I had) while I was doing it… I was also cleaning up my 14 year old bull mastiff's accident and grumbling about it but then I heard you chuckle and talking to Fozie… it made me smile and I completely forgot about the grumbling at having to clean up another mess… so, thank you for sharing the farm and the animals with all of us… it really does make our day!

I think your bunny barn is awesome! They are fine in snow! That’s why the good Lord gave them such a thick coat. For thousands of years animals have lived outside in snow and have survived fine. Don’t understand why people make such a big deal about this now. Keeping animals “warm” in winter is a fairly new concept. I know our great grandparents didn’t take such drastic measures as people do now.

We are in Hastings Highlands. It has been very cold for the past few days, after warming up for a few days earlier in March. The one thing I am grateful for is that there is no snow in my gardens! Usually, this time of the year, we have several inches of snow on the ground. Currently -9 C.

Down under is pretty nice too. We’ve been to Melbourne, Sydney, uluru and Cairns years ago. It was a super nice tour, for me snow is nice for a few weeks after that it’s tiresome. But would be nice to experience it at least once.

Another homesteading channel in Michigan just posted a video about buying 4 pigs....said they got a good deal because the owner wanted to get rid of the 6-month-old males.....and they got 2 young females (2 months old). They plan to breed them in a few months...So, I think female pigs are more desirable for their breeding capabilities.

you're right, males of all the animals are less desirable sadly. Nobody wants boy ducks or boy rabbits or roosters or boars lol. Good thing about selling these pigs as pets is people have their preference for example today I sold the spotted male cause the people just wanted a boy house pig.

your lovely kitties do eat mice and probably birds so yeah, once a month or every two at the very least, deworm them. any vet will tell you that so check it out. Love your videos, really. Recommend them to others .

Do you watch the cats eat? If dexters losing weight and fozzie and chunk are still gaining, it might be possible they’re stealing food from the other cats! I’ve encountered this problem with previous pets and the way I went about it is by caging the bigger cats separately with their own set portion. Might help with weight control as well since I’d hate to see any of them get sick 😞

I think maybe he's losing some of his winter fur coat too cause it can't be the food as they always are given too much food. I saw him eating today, but I always keep an eye on these guys and if anything is really out of the ordinary I'll see to it.

When the rooster gets a favourite hen he mates too much ruining the feathers so the hen saddle protects her.

Not the same, the industry pumps their meat with growth hormone, steroids and antibiotics. They also do other tricks like add red dye to steaks so they look good even though real meat has a brown tinge to it. Why are the eggs at a grocery store so white? Cause they bleach them. They also inject water into the chicken to make it look plump but when u cook it shrinks so much. You’re talking the difference between “free range” and “free run” we free range the chickens in the non-winter months but they are free run in the coops as opposed to the industrial chicken camps where the chicken live in a 2 foot cage pumped with tons of food to grow faster. The big ag corporate meat producers are for their bottom line and that’s it. Watch some videos about it and you’ll be disappointed I’m sure 😉

We sell fertile goose eggs for $12 each cause the geese only lay a limited amount during their nesting season.
