[A] Come Hang Out With Your Dad (platonic fatherly roleplay & ambient company)

[A] Suitable for listeners of any gender. Contains father-child roleplay elements where I speak to you directly and ask a few simple questions with no major responses necessary. I call you 'kiddo' and refer to myself as your dad and your old man. I reference myself doing "boring adult work" but otherwise make no mention or implication of your age, and do not reference the rest of your family.
Here's a nice long ambient audio that was requested by a couple of my lovely Patreon supporters who were hoping for a relaxed, quiet audio to help them feel safe and have a sense of company. In this audio, I greet you warmly like you've stepped into the room and ask if you'd like to come hang out next to me while I'm working. It isn't specified what you're doing, you're welcome to do whatever quiet activity you want. This audio contains a few fatherly references in the introduction, if you'd prefer a version where our relationship is unspecified, there's a version with an alternate introduction called "[A] Come Hang Out Next To Me" but the rest of the audio is otherwise the same.
A lot of the audio is quiet ambience, mostly me typing on the keyboard, clicking the mouse, breathing and sometimes making little "Hmm" sounds or quiet murmurs. Occasionally I'll explain what I'm doing (studying family counselling and experimenting with a program that charts family trees) or will comment on something. I check in with you twice, just briefly and gently asking if you're okay, before smiling and going back to work. Towards the end, I suggest that we can do something nice after I'm done working, and then at the end of the audio I repeat the suggestion, telling you that you can pick whatever you'd like to do with me. With a contented chuckle, we both go off to do that and the audio fades out.
