💡 The first Anglo-Afghan war was fought between the British Empire and the Afghan ruler, Dost Muhammad, from 1838 to 1842. The British invaded Afghanistan to reinstall Shah Shujah as the ruler of Afghanistan. However, Dost Muhammad's son Akbar Khan turned the tables on the British in 1841. During the winter of 1841-42, the British Kabul garrison was annihilated while on its way to Jalalabad. But the British retaliated by launching another military campaign in Afghanistan. In the end, the British were forced to reinstate Dost Mohammad as the emir of Afghanistan.

Not from 1857 but 1757 so we will be able to know that how british army started invading subcontinent and how much effort they used to get this and after how much time they got control of how much area and gradually we also want to know that how many areas and controllers and rulers of those areas gave british army tough time and how many states remained independant for how much time and why british army was not able to conquer those areas This documentry will go more interesting if documented as i told and briefly

I have a suggestion for you . I am from india and your video editing and narrating style is genuinely great . I want to listen the great deeds of our great leader Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and his history in your channel . To give a context , he wanted an undivided india . His army had three head generals from three different religions . He was very secular .

I hope you mean to say he was wanting an undivided British India because till 1947 there was many princely states in indian subcontinent which had their won administration and rest was British India which was under the English control, and partition was happened only of British india , princely states had two choices either they can join India or Pakistan according to their peoples majority of religion or they can remain independent, so some states willing joined India or Pakistan and rest were taken by Force by both newly born British colonies

Great effort, based on a literal translation of William Dalrymple's book "Return of the King". A little more honesty in the start about how it is entirely based on his research and work would have been better. There is no mention (or a link) of his book in the video description either.
