A complete guide to replace the lcd only for new type of macbook

Because a lot of people have asked me to do a complete video on only lcd replacement.
Watch it carefully because i have a lot of tips and tricks mentioned.

Thanks for the video. Yes Lui makes it look easy as you do TY Khan. I removed my first panel and used a little too much ISO. Backlight layers got stained plus I pushed the air slice tool in a little too far and got adhesive on them too. Second one was a lot better but I still need a lot of practise.

don't use any IPA

Don’t use ipa, first learn to controle the slices. Also knowing the distance between glue and backlight layers is important. After some experience you can start making your slice wet with ipa. The only reason we make it wet with is that it then doesn’t catch any glue on it.

I used to do these on the 1466, 1502, 1398. Backlight sucks !!! I just do the whole lid now, so much more easier and there isn't that much a price difference to justify all that extra work. Changing the lid is so much easier.

M1X whole lid won’t be an option.

@@tasuwer1 Makes no sense. The lid is aluminum. They counterfeit those all day long and slap a LCD in it and call it an assembly, or lid. Why waste your time. They do it for you, perfectly. For the price difference, even if its $100 more. I'm saving time and money (if you f up). I f ed up rarely, but when you do its expensive. What is the model number? I go by model numbers only. Ain't down with the M1X, means nothing to me. All it says to me is M1, and probably those that follow X. Back in the day the price difference was $200-$300 and the LCDs were hella cheap. Easy to make a huge profit, even if it took few hours, totally worth it. But now a days, the LCDs are so expensive, and the lids so cheap. Let them do all the work, it ain't worth the hassle. I can change a lid in like 20 mins. Easy $250. I won't waste a few hours for $100, got too much work to waste time.

@@TonyToneFixMyPhone pretty sure that TKpixels is talking about serialisation in regard to the camera here. A full replacement lid on the next MI machines. In these it's likely that the camera will not work if you replace the whole lid?

@@TonyToneFixMyPhone where are you getting your lids from? Everyone that I asked in the group said that the Chinese retina screens are hit and miss
