Something I noticed is that the Black Widow is an upgraded Wolf Spider, so it uses slight variations of the wolf's moves. So you don't need to learn new parry patterns. Just some adjustments

You can bypass the nail jump on the way to the pipe with the quarter to get scarabs. Use a dandelion tuft and jump past the nail to land on the pipe. Makes it MUCH easier. Thanks for your grounded videos. They are very helpful and thankfully not irritating in the slightest.

Yes that sucked. Especially after fighting a black widow. My level 7 mint mace destroyed him. I probably shouldn't have killed the brood mother before the mant. Killed the mantis today and I took Tully in with me to see if he would help but he never did anything. Going to have to kill him again if I want the armor and weapon.

Was hard for me. Killed it with a lvl 6 insect bow and splinter arrows, unfortunately the game wouldn't allow shooting the arrows down through the hole lol

If you still haven't gotten it, you go up by the field station in the beginning of the undershed area follow the metal and PVC pipes to that area. You'll be able to see the path as you're going. Also you will need a dandelion tuft.

In the holiday update, says the Fresh Storage (the fridge) recipe can now be found in the introductory lab in the under shed instead of deeper. Any ideas where that is?

Disregard! A like just reminded me of this comment and that I never came back, but a few hours after posting it, I went to the lab and it was super obvious. When you enter the shed for the first time, as in, swim through the little bit of water to go under the wall to where the lab door is, then unlock the lab door with the biometric scanner, it’s literally right inside that first room where the materials are on racks and computers are. Look around right after you get in, before you even go to the area we’re bugs are to start, can’t miss it :) HIGHLY RECOMMEND getting as soon as you can, even before you’re ready for the lab itself. It’s such a valuable item and makes food management so easy, but since it’s an end game item, if you wait, you’ll beat the game right after getting it and barely get to use it. Sorry I never updated this, good luck! Be kind to others (and yourself!!)✌🏼

You can jump straight over that nail with a tuft. Or aphid boots and natural explorer gives enough speed as well. Way easier than doing it 7 times. Lol

Does the widow under the shed not respawn? I have yet to see it, after killing it the first time. Makes farming the widow gear for multiple people a bit more time consuming, if that's the case.

Yeah they do but it takes a while for it to respawn

Takes 14 in game days if I'm not mistaken for widows to respawn

@@dustinwilkie3124 Nope. The other three respawn in three days. I've killed them multiple times this past weekend. The one guarding the shed lab still hasn't respawned. It's easily been 14 days, in game. I fear they've tagged it as an actual mini-boss, and it doesn't respawn. It could also be a bug.

Just go to burgl lab in the oak tree and make copies of whatever you want. Will cost you some raw science about 1500 per item but can be a quicker way then waiting for respawn if you have the raw science to spare

The Mantsterious Stranger saved me and my friend's behind back when we first time went into the termite nest which we found by accident. All 3 of us went in with the mutation and most of the time proc-ed in multiple Mants at the same time and just watch them 3 going all spartan on the termite mobs 😂

I watched this to try to discover info on some science sitting inside the end of a pipe that's just coming straight down from the ceiling. It looks like maybe it's accessed from outside maybe because I've been all through this and have cleared everything but that raw science. Anyway, this wasn't covered in this video and I can't find info anywhere. Let me know if you find something please. =)
