Beautiful place, I would love to have one of these places near me, our camp grounds have electricity water and tv cable, funny story! I think you did the right thing, lock the doors first and find out later. LOL! As always an amazing job my Man!

Heading up there mid July! Can't wait. Plan is to 4 day trip one at least on Day. One on Spider. And then on to big musky lake. But these two lakes should get my son some great action!

That sounds like an awesome trip. I try to fish Day lake at least once a year as a "moral booster." Its probably the only lake that I know I can catch a musky on. There are so many good lakes nearby too, that you will have no problem filling up 4 days. You might want to check out lower clam while there. It has plenty of muskies in the mid 30's, plus some big northern pike.

@@muskyslayeroutdoors3499 I just watched it. I already seen it, but I didn't realize you were on day lake. Now that I know, I can definitely tell right where you are at. That 30 incher is pretty decent for that lake. My biggest was 32 inches last week.

Hi Joe. Yes, actually. There are plenty of hazards out there. Take it slow! I nearly lost my motor on a whole tree floating just under the surface. The bogs keep moving around too. Its still one of my all time favorite lakes. I think you'd enjoy it.

Does site 49 have access/path to the lake?

I believe it does. There is a trail running along the edge of the lake, and most of the sites on the lake side have trails from the campsite to that trail.
