Here is my complete updated guide to Topaz and why she keeps getting better due to new synergies and teams. Her follow up power keeps on increasing, and she's nearly gone away but has a bunch of updates to her build. So I go over Topaz's best build, including relics, planars, light cones. I also go through every unit post 1.4 and which ones synergize with her. E1 vs. S1 and other topics are also discussed, and I hope they help for any new Topaz havers in 2.2!

@@bangtancentric975absolutely. I recommend huo huo if you have her for energy or gallagher for sp positivity. luocha also attacks frequently if you just want to get robin energy, but huo huo essentially does the same but better, whatever works man 👍🏻

Thank you Guoba for making these updated guides of old characters. Not a lot of theorycrafters make updated versions of their old guides, so it’s very nice of you to make them despite the extra work. (I got Topaz this morning, and couldn’t find any updated guides, so I was scared that poor me would have to be the one to do all the work in figuring out the most optimal build for her.) P.S. My theorycrafting and team building usually ends up with my units barely clearing content.😂

If you have her E1 and LC. She provides debuffs stack for Acheron so quickly. Insane especially if you have Acheron E2.

Finally someone that mentions e1/s1 topaz isnt mandatory. So many people spread that misinformation which just ultimately results in people being hesitant in trying fua team just by that statement alone eventho ironically its one of the best performing e0s0 team.

Here I am with a E6S5 Topaz since 1.4 and I've never regretted it. I'm a Topaz simp and she's my most invested unit and I can easily deal 150k Numby on Winfall state

This is so helpful! I just picked up Topaz + LC and even though my build is WACK rn as she runs all my leftover Duke pieces, she's already been very fun! Overworld Numby supremacy. It does make me sad to skip Robin for now, but she'll be a priority rerun unit for me. Especially since we're shifting into break meta, it would be nice to free up RM.

Topaz is my favorite character and I had insane luck on her banner. Went in with enough pulls to guarantee 1 more copy to get her to E2 and came out with E6 Topaz. I hope she keeps gaining value in the future like she has since her release.

She's always been my exploration character due to MPV chest- and trotter-finding Numby. I just read her talents again recently, and apparently she has a small chance of getting CURIOS in SU. The fact that she looks like Chisato from Lycoris Recoil and have a gun just like her is the cherry on top. She'll always be one of my favorite characters if not the most favorite.

So a crackpot idea I had for a team that seemed to work out pretty well, was pairing E0S1 Topaz with Acheron. Topaz can pretty reliably apply 2 different debuffs between her turn + Numbys, which super charges the hell out of Acheron's ult generation. You lose the extra damage from another Nihility unit (barring E2 Acheron), but through extra ults and a sub dps, it makes up for it. Doubt it's optimal, but it is quite funny. Suggest giving it a try, sometime!

Good to know Final Victor is also good on her. i have been thinking about putting that LC on either Ratio or her so that the other one will get the Swordplay LC. The only drawback I guess is that the bonis Atk% is rather low even at S5

Got mega unlucky with pulls so I was only able to pick up Topaz this patch. Gotta save my guaranteed for Ruan Mei so I'll grab Robin on her rerun and for now just dream about the Robin + Topaz machine :') Also thinking about Topaz E1 on her next banner since I've reallyy been enjoying the FUA team but who knows when that will be. I finally got my first Clara from the standard banner (wanted her since I started playing), so I pulled for Topaz ... got my second Clara after 20 pulls on her banner and then also Topaz before pity. So I decided to go for E1 and won the 50/50. Now I'm just a happy little Trailblazer. 😊 Haven't fully built it yet but it's just so fun, to see the enemy destroy themselves. Now I just need to wait for Aventurine rerun, since I also went for Robin and someone had to be sacrificed. But Luocha does a fantastic job for now. Hey, i'm waiting for subtitles before watching the vid since they usually have some extra info, but i wanted to ask about any suggestions about having enough debuffs for a ratio team, since i lost my 50/50 on topaz's LC and i have finished any jade activities i had access to The team would be Ratio - Topaz - Robin - Sustain , none of them with their signature LCs (The sustains i have avalaible are Fu Xuan , Luocha , Gepard, Bailu , Gallagher E0, in decreasing order of how well built they are) I wanted to use fu xuan for her crit rate buff and the comfort she gives, but at this point gallagher would be the only thing allowing me to get an extra debuff? Or is there something else i can do on the other members too?

I don't regret pulling for her. She helps finding treasure chests more simple. Something I didn't realized, cause I didn't go for her the first time. Though she does well as an E0, though E1 would be better. Next time she comes back, gonna go for her E1

I pulled for S1 and I am using her with ratio, ruan and adventurine because I couldn't pull for robin while getting the lightcone sadge. My question - is it better to put the topaz' lightcone on ratio (my ratio has stellar sea), like for the whole team damage as a whole. Topaz will do less damage but will ratio make up for it and then some? The builds will be basically the same for them both since it offers crit rate btw

Nowoday i run Clara/HuoHuo/Topaz/robin and it run fantasticaly well, with HuoHuo energy regen giving a lot of uptime for both clara and ruan mei ult, a lot of amping damage, survivability, easy SP Rotations.

Its kind of restrictive because it recquires e1 for Topaz and e2 for Acheron, but Topaz can actually help Acheron charge up extremely fast when both her and Numby are applying a debuff with every attack

Got her by accident on her first banner and she's become a top fav :) And whilst she's better as a secondary DPS, it's very funny to play her on hunt path in SU where she can shoot mobs dead with one bullet and then act again, like an IPC Boothill lol
