I would assume, that if they were to actually rig the chances somehow, they would rig it, so whales have to spend more, not less. But I think they don't need to do anything, even if you win 50/50 six times in a row, you're already whaling quite enough.

Meanwhile still trying to progress in the story with weak characters. This game and Genshin have been the most harsh games for me. Too much bad luck, almost no character that I could actually like, demotivating trap games, Hoyo will forever remain that way. Thankfully Wuthering Waves had 5 star selector and been a decent start simply by selecting character that I like, and now going to play for a long time. While spit at hoyo games forever.

Genshin is easy unless you’re trying to do spiral abyss, which most people don’t do anyway. HSR is definitely more challenging because you need different character types for simulated universe and bosses.
