First off, excellent video Ryve. This is leagues and bounds the best comprehensive video on Ashes and absolutely what you'd want to show someone new to the space. I just also wanted to mention the screen where you show the playable races, where the hell did you get that image from? A thumbnail that you blew up lol? I was going to tell you that you should have just used some upscaler on it and figured that the original was a low resolution to begin with. But I just checked the wiki and the original image is very high res, so I'm not sure where you got this one from. KZbins bitrate is bad, but not THAT bad o.o. Either way, I'm just being critical about something that probably don't even really matter, just figured I'd give ya some shit.

Ultima Online PVP tags. Love it... Anyone with a flagged with a RED name was usually attack on sight and they could never go into settlements cause NPC guards would also attack on sight.

What I'm still not fully understand is, do players create nodes or are these nodes set in the world? If they are set by default and are not created by players, I assume that the more veteran players will have more influence in nodes, making it tough for newer players, right? I'm imagining the Node System to be very similar to New World's zones controls, but maybe I'm wrong

Nodes are in predefined locations and level up based on player activity

It’s probably impossible but hermit huts as a residence would be cool. Be able to build a hermit hut as your home, when within a radius of the hut the hermit can’t be corrupted. So when you are exploring you could be ganked by a hermit. Hermit life would need to be tough though, so you didn’t have a world full of hermits. Or have hermit density limits.

Alright, ill buy in to the Alpha II. I have 2 main worries 1) Balance. It has to be a nightmare to balance all these 450 thousand systems 2) The scope of everything they want to do makes it seem like we will be in an open BETA for years With that said I'm giving it a shot. $250 was the cost when packs were still being sold. They have shut off pack sales for now, they will probably open them back up after A2 starts at some point.
