Amazing boats! I have a 2020 Clearwater 2000CC and had 2006 Clearwater 2000CC before I sold it and bought the 2020 model. Very dry boat and well made.

I can vouch for the dryness of this boat. After riding with friends boats you realize how wet some boats can be. Funny I went to buy the 2000CC but when my wife saw the 2200 she was hooked. She felt the bigger boat would make her feel safer.

Nice review, buddy . A lot of people don't understand a lot of things when it comes to boats. First, saltwater will kill anything boats will always give you problem I don't care if it a $200,000 or a $10,000 boat

I remember asking you about this when you bought it. I ended up going with a 2022 Yamaha FSH 210 sport. I love my boat. I hope they fix that soft spot brother!

I remember our conversation. I love the FSH line and now with the FSH 252 it’s on my short list to upgrade to. Overall I love my Clearwater 2200 but now I want a bigger boat.

Lol it’s always a bigger boat that pulls us in. I feel 28 to 30 foot is the right size for me. My buddy has a 28ft and it rides nice in rough conditions.

@@clearwaterboating I agree. I wish Yamaha made a 27’ FSH. I’d buy the hell out of it. The only thing I don’t like about my 210 is the hull isn’t Deep V.

That was my big issue with the 210, the lack of a deep V. You know I love offshore and that deep V makes a big difference

I have seen this year listed for about $54,000 but you can find them cheaper if you search around.

Would you buy it again? Looking at these for this summer maybe. Also considering Sea Hunt and Sea Fox.

The only thing I would change is buying the bigger version. This is an economy boat and for the price you get a lot of boat. Don’t let the brand names fool you, you are going to deal with issues not matter what brand you buy. They key is having a Dealship that stands behind when they sell. Champion Marine has been that for me, we had some hiccups but overall positive. Hope this helps good luck, reach out to me anytime

How does it handle in deep sea ? I’m new to boating and I wanted to hit the reefs

I have taken this boat 50+ miles with no worries whatsoever. I would start nearshore then work my way out. When you get your boat drop me an email and we could plan a buddy boat trip and share some numbers.

We got into some nice fish. My buddy got a 27” red grouper. We almost had a boat limit of red grouper. Keep me posted on the progress of your boat.
