Ummmmmm..........in the interest of supplying your viewers with correct information; the clips of the flowers that predominantly feature in your video are not from a Stanhopea. The flowers that you predominantly show are from an Aciopea. Aciopea is an intergeneric hybrid between an Acineta and a Stanhopea. It would be a shame if people think what you are showing is a Stanhopea

Ah wonderful someone who knows his orchids watching one of our videos thank you . This one we used as a representation of Stanhopea is one we bought from Ecuagenera just over 10 years ago . It is an intergeneric hybrid of Stahopea, Acineta and Gongorhaea but the flower shape and colour is fairly close to what can be expected from certain Stanhopea .

@@thenaturecompany I collect orchids and even if I know the parents of the orchid I can keep calling with the simple name that we know it. Is not a big deal, if we want to know the exact difficult name we check the pots. So, not a big deal, we understand your videos, thanks for sharing, blessings from 🇺🇸 🎉

@@thenaturecompany Well, I didn’t think I could keep an orchid alive, and now I have a variety of them, most doing really well with new growths or spikes. So, maybe. If you have an email address, I would love to send you a few pictures of my beginning success story. I have a Maxillaria that bloomed and has a second bud about to open. (It’s from a cutting off someone’s repot that I bought on EBay, so it’s only a single stem right now.) I’m still getting the hang of Cattleyas, but the ones that were healthy to start with still are, 😋🤣 and, so on.
