Demons are real. They often try to snare me into evil thoughts and actions, and one of the things I do every night, I play a recording of the "Agni Parthene Theotokos", and every night it clears the atmosphere of my living space, and I have a better frame of mind and also a better sleep. I listen to this hymn every day now, and it keeps me from being lured into bad thoughts and decisions, or from driving myself to do them. Also, the demons run from this hymn, as they do to all hymns, but this one has a power that transforms the soul.

They are VERY VERY real, I started to see them 4, 3ish year's ago, and I keep it to myself now, people say I've lost my mind, funny thing is, a lot of people walking around have shadows following them, latched on to them especially on the left side, I literally watch them with my coffee now. They are so unaware of them, and they say I have lost my mind. I noticed something very interesting about demons, spirits, etc.. if the demon is strong, it will attach to that person's friends, too! Be careful who's house you walk into. Jesus is very real.

Hi sister. Please have your daughter brought to medical professionals who can give her care for whatever is bringing her down. It could be as simple as diet. Often when missing simple vitamins and minerals it can greatly affect our humour and health. Also, having someone to talk to can ease her fears. There are biological issues that stem from female monthly issues. I know because I have passed this. Also, being Catholic as you mentioned, you should give the rosary prayer with family every night. This has brought many blessings especially going to adoration and repentance whenever needed. I pray for you all. Wherever God leads you, trust Him but also listen to you daughter's needs. Pray over her. Pour blessings upon her and ask Jesus to remove any spirits that hold her and your family down. God bless.

I had a super scary demon encounter once. It was back during the lockdowns. I think it's a minor demon, not a particularly powerful one, but the appearance tells me it's a nephilim spirit. either way, i made a poor choice one night. I felt for some reason like i should be offering good spirits a "rest area" of sorts so they can escape the darkness of sheol for a few moments at least. Instant regret. Because the moment i did that, a spirit DID enter me!!! A terrifying one with a misshapen broken enlarged lower jaw with a whooooole lot of teeth. I saw it clearly and vividly in my head, and ive had both insomnia-hallucinations and stress-induced hallucinations. this was definitely NEITHER. It was enough to make me fast from sinful behavior for a week, which is a record for me lol. God will drop your protection to teach you a lesson if you're not careful!

Alcoholics Anonymous is not a religion. It's a spiritual program of action. The program outlined in the Big Book of alcoholics anonymous is the entire reason I have a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ today. There was too much of myself in the way for me to have a successful, sober relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ in the first place. The steps helped get me out of the way. I'm pleased to hear that you have a rich relationship with the Lord today, and without the program of action. However, please don't believe that this is a matter of Jesus vs. AA. That's not how it works. People speak of 'repentance' all the time, yet don't seem to offer any instructions on how to do so. Why does the Lord sometimes heal certain people quickly, and other times slowly? AA does not have an exclusive pipeline to God. Many times I have prayed for the alcoholism to be taken from me, and the issue went nowhere. A spiritual program of action was what I needed.

Something like this happened to me. I sinned...and sinned willingly and knowingly and I wouldn't even perhaps mentioned it if it didn't go "wrongly", unpleasantly. I don't know if it is OK for me even to write something like this. If it is wrong, I apologize, if it disturbs people please don't read. Even since I was a young man I had a difficult time with girls, women. I believe the problem is psychological, perhaps caused by traumatic events within my childhood and family. Needless to say I developed a sort of a fear of intimacy. This just further strengthened my neurosis, anxiety, asocial behavior and depression. This caused trouble and difficulty within my family, on college and on jobs. Other people and even my family members started doubting my own sanity, normal sexuality and so on, and this ofc just increased my self-doubts and depression. I prayed to God that I am "normal" and to find happiness like other people. One day I decided to do something about it and hire a prostitute. She was a single mother who did this out of desperation I believe. It went "well" for the first time. The second time not so much, namely I failed to perform. This just caused severe depression, anxiety, insanity within me. I stopped going outside, didn't want people to see me and didn't even try to get girls anymore. I just masturbated within my room constantly. This lasted for more than 6 years. Finally I went to a monastery, confessed my sins, started fasting every fast, prayed every day, left my home and went to the army. I spent my life living like that, and going through hard labor and life tribulations for half a year. And although my soul was severely damaged as the consequence of my life, I felt a bit better. I started helping people a bit, helping myself, and developed ambitions, prayed every day and fasted regularly, visited Church, trained, worked hard, served the army. Even began seeing some girls. I went to a few prostitutes again solely to see if everything "was normal" with me regarding that segment of my life and human behavior. And everything went "OK". And I was glad that I was normal in this regard so I wanted to try more and more. I started feeling normal, albeit "too late" for all of it, everything, life. Anyhow I went to two vacations this summer. A guy approached me and said he knew a place where I can hire girls. So I went with him although I knew he was "shady" and everything was "off" and we went to a dangerous part of town in this huge dangerous metropolis in a foreign country. Anyway he started saying what sort of sexual deviancy is there in that city to which I cringed. he was surprised by that. So I arrived to that place, some girls approached me, ordered champagne, we talked a bit and it was all a scam so that I would pay a lot for the champagne and suffer the consequences of this mafia club if I didn't. Somehow I talked my way out of it to pay only part of the money for the expensive champagne. And this "manager' guy said: "I hope you learned something from this, don't go to places like this any more". It was a surreal experience like someone else was saying it, not him. That night I dreamed a dream which was interpreted to me like a "powerful force protecting me". After that I watched this video. And decided to sin once more. A friend of mine invited me to a big town known for it's prostitution. I guess he thought it would be "good" for me. Everything in that town was demonic. The imagery, the sculptures, drugs, the prostitution, everything. Walking through it's streets you could feel your soul leaving you somehow. Anyhow, I decided to visit two prostitutes again. And instead of the sex being "the usual", I had trouble performing, and one of the prostitutes even did severely unpleasant things to me. The entire thing was surreal. I know feel defiled, emasculated and doubting of myself. Confessing these things in person feels difficult. How do I regain myself? How do I regain my confidence? How do I regain belief in myself and my own masculinity? How do I repent from this and move on? How do I know I am normal in this (described)sense? I feel I should just go and join a war somewhere in order to find a purpose, and a fitting end for myself since that was my "last ditch" plan if everything else(relationships, jobs, potential marriage) failed. I am sorry for writing this if it disturbs anyone, I had to put my thoughts somewhere. If it's rude, not proper and such I apologize, I will remove it.

Have you gotten a helpful reply yet? I pray so. The demons fill you with fear and doubt and they drive you to find purpose in this life outside of God. Your purpose is to become a child of God - in Him and Him alone will you find fulfillment and peace. A spiritual father is vital. Try to find one and pray God will bring you to one. In the meantime, partake as much as you can in the life of the Church. Confess, take Holy Communion, and talk regularly with your priest. Read from the spiritual works of the Church - Scripture obviously, but also the Philokalia and the lives of the Saints. Saint Mary of Egypt may be a special guide for you. DO NOT DESPAIR - despair is of Satan. God can take any suffering, any trauma, and turn it for salvation. God has called you for a special purpose and the demons are trying to pull you away. Always get back up and run after Christ. I don't know if this helps, but I pray for you and hope you will pray always for me a sinner. You can always pray, and your purpose (and all of ours) is in praying for one another, the dead, and the whole world. Pray always and God will give you the gift of prayer. God will also gift you psalms or other scripture to pray. I would recommend also, if you haven't seen it, watching the Russian spiritual classic The Island. It is a deeply redemptive movie about God taking the very thing about which one despairs and using it both for that man's salvation and the undoing of the sin. God works mysteriously and beyond our comprehension. Trust that nothing is beyond His saving grace In Christ

The modern world mishapes people in this way. Porn and social media distorts our worldview and how we feel about ourselves. It is a very common effect upon our psyche that is hard to shake but you have taken a turn in the right direction. Not liking hookers does not mean you are gay. More likely means you are not stupid enough to fool yourself to thinking that sex=intimacy. Stay strong, pray for guidance and look for a decent girl to have a family with. Be good to her and for the Lord. Be humble and grateful and may you achieve that sense of purpose you have been missing. Now offset that experience with wholesome communion with God, go running or walking on trails for hours (bring food), spend half a day outside along the ocean and thank all of creation for existence. We are created from dust and return to dust. Now spend that time being human with wholesome good-hearted ways, find a way to make a difference in 1 life just 1 life. Spreading your story is helpful, it helps. I am definitely not the one to advise on these religious matters of God good evil right and wrong etc but start small and work your way up. Small things have impact. Great impact. They make you a target sure but fear not unto the end for I am with you. There is peace, you need to know where to find it. Seek, you shall find, ask, it shall be given. Ask and seek carefully though.

This was a powerful message. Simple and to the point. I believe the condition worse than possession is called having a reprobate mind. My Mother who is also a Pastor warned me of this. But despite the warnings, I have given myself over to sin many times. I repent and come back but I'm afraid that eventually God will close His doors to me and I will be worse than the demon possessed men in the Bible, and I won't have a way to come back. A greater sin than the passions is the sin of unbelief because it's the root cause of the emptiness and despair that gives rise to the passions and escapism. Not feeling good enough has been the deepest wound in my life and it arose from unbelief and not knowing the true healing power of faith and praise. Repentance and mercy through the Jesus prayer is a certain way to break the cycle of unbelief and low self esteem to be restored again in the true light of God.

Dear priest Bailey. I agree with the message you are presenting. My issue, is perhaps academic, but central nonetheless. Taking the word of "God" as presented, interpreted and censored by mortals, especially the "church", my question is this: We are told "God" made the heavens, and all the beings that inhabit it. I assume this also covers "evil". We are also told, that God is all powerful and all knowing. Moving forward from that spot, does it not stand to reason that the forces for evil are just performing their duty as assigned? How can free will and God's all knowing nature be balanced?

i have sinned and been sinned against, these past few days God has been opening my eyes to path to his glory and love. I struggle most with pride and lust. I have been a very prideful man. I realize now that the devil has been shaping me in that way and i have been letting it happen. now i ask for the lords forgiveness for i am in no position to shame, to judge or to say what is right or wrong of someone else's actions all i can do is forgive when i have been wronged the same way Jesus Christ willingly accepts us all when we come to him everyday with repentance. He is forever loving and merciful. I have yet to be Baptized but I am ready not so I can go to heaven but because I truly Love him and I want to do right by him in the image he had for me. i want to wash off the sin and be a better man for him. I realize now I alone cannot be sinless I can only try to better everyday as a follower of christ and as a human being to others. i am sorry if my message is all over the place I struggle with staying on topic but I hope this message helps you someway realize that Gods way is the only way, that nothing is possible without Gods grace

Repentance is the key. It is what differentiates us from the demons, the sheep from the goats, the repentant sinners from the unrepentant hypocrites. While the goal of the demons is to inhabit fallen humanity, this is only possible if fallen humans do not repent and return to God. God will drive the demons out of humanity, and in the resurrection unite soul and body in an inseparable union making the entrance of demons impossible. But one possibility remains even after the resurrection, a fate even worse than demon possession. If one does not repent of one's sins, but justifies oneself, and condemns others of their sins, refusing to forgive them, then one does not need to be possessed by a demon, one would have already become one. Unrepentance leads to the unforgivable state of one who is unmerciful towards himself and towards others. It is a rejection of mercy. The eternal state of one who has become like the demons, is the place prepared for the demons, the Lake of Fire. The state of those who embrace God's mercy and become merciful as God is merciful, is the New Jerusalem where God will dwell among humanity. God the Word became a man in order to make humans like God, who is love. Lucifer deceived the woman in order to prevent the incarnation of God the Word so that the devil could dwell in humanity and make humans like demons.

To overcome demons you need to understand the history of where they came from and how What gives them power over us and permits them to enter our body And the ‘law of restraint’ imposed by God which restricts them and gives us power over them (as per Luke 10:17-20) but only if we follow the true path Sadly Christianity does not give you this crucial information and very few pastors know as they are not the elect and reject the writings that explain this.

I find it a bit difficult at times when it comes to what is sinning in the eyes of God, OT verses NT. And that Chrisitans only have 4 rules that is a demand that we keep: Act15:29. Meat slaughtered with gas often suffocate the animal before the slaughter and such meat can be of suffocated animals- blood will remain. Not to mention the homorainbow movement. There might be a reason for us only to have 4 rules as a demand. Not that sinning according to God has stopped to be sinning. Maybe the truth is more important for us humans, Gods true words. Like Jesus is talking of in John8:31-36:31 So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, 32 and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” 33 They answered him, “We are offspring of Abraham and have never been enslaved to anyone. From my understanding, a person who's possessed, it's his/her body, not their soul, therefore, their spirit can still go to Heaven. But the unrepentant person, their spirit is now condemned even during their mortal life Psychology has its place, I believe that, but as mentioned, spiritual possession is looked upon as nonsense and as an old way of thinking dating back to centuries ago, and is ignored, even by some churches of today.
