Tony Soprano had a great line to Pauly in the final season of The Sopranos, remember when is the lowest form of conversation and that is how I feel about 90% of legacy sequels. Too much living off the past and trying to throw nostalgia into mix to trick the audience into thinking this is a well-made movie.

The reason Fishburne wasn’t in Resurrection is because Morpheus died in The Matrix Online so a new Morpheus is born (from an Agent??? I think- I haven’t watched it since it came out).

I thought they were called Re-quels Edit: Nvm you have to retcon a previous sequels to get a Re-quel
