this was a great interview. I am actually reading this book right now in my high school AP language class, and this really helped me understand a lot of the things that she says in her book.

She is so passionate about what she believes in. I would love to get involved with her cause , because this affects all of us. Why are we not demanding better pay for the" working class" . The CEOs of these big companies only give whatever the minimum requirement is for that state, which the reason they outsource their businesses and pay less taxes than the average American. Wha?? How is that possible when they made 14 billion dollars.

Ms. Ehrenreich gives a fairly coherent definition of the problem(s) being faced by Middle America today, but there doesn't seem to be any prescription for any answers to this situation. I hope she moves on to a successive book that tries to begin to bring some sort of resolution to the topic. This is very serious, and I hope that those who view this video can begin developing long term methodologies to resolve these issues.

I agree with everything she says; she speak the truth--except for one point: that something can be done about it and that we are making progress. Neither of those is true.
