Yes thank you Dr Thomas I have desired for so long to go to school for divinity I believe the Lord has called me as a seer and a Evangelist he's called me to the 5fokd ministry I love this interview because the Lord showed me Naomi and Ruth in a dream I must research and espound on these women it's so much going on in my church that we need women to learn about women in the bible and apply their stories to our lives to enrich our lives I shared on Sunday how these interviews with these great preachers have touched my very sou,l their stories and love for God challenges me to go further. God bless you Dr Frank thank you immensely 🙏😇

I could not hit the like button enough! So much of Bishop James' testimony has resonated with me as a preacher. How invaluable it is for the "Naomi's" who carry this same mantle to mentor, sharpen and nurture us "Ruth's" in finding and developing our voices! You were right, it is undocumented but should be chronicled. Thank you, Pastor Frank, for sharing her with us and thank you Bishop Cynthia James.

Dr. Wanda Davis Turner also traveled with now Bishop Ernestine Cleveland-Reems. I was new in ministry when I first attended one of her conferences. I was blown away by these female preachers who were beautiful, educated, and powerful and had it together spirit, soul, and body. They made an indelible impact and impression on my now 23-year ministry history! Praising God for them!

Not trying to be self deprecating, but I felt like a fly on the wall as I listened intently to the conversation between these two geniuses. Simply fascinating and informative! Can't wait to tune in to the Potter's House Bible study next Wednesday Night to glean more from this biblical scholar. So excited for the cohort in your PhD program and what they will bring to the body of Christ. God bless you Dr. Frank Thomas!

I have really enjoyed this interview as well as the other women in ministry interviews. As a young female pastor, the interviews have been so breath taking especially as we celebrate women's history month. I love to hear the stories of the women that have gone before me. This makes me so proud as an African American Preacher.

This interview is blessing me. I joined the NY Chapter of ECRWIM and attended 3 to 4 of the conferences. I am happy to hear you say, Dr. Frank Thomas, that Ernestine Reems' ministry and journey needs to be chronicled. I would be willing to share my experiences at her conferences, my personal experiences with Ernest Reems as well as my printed materials from the conference which I saved as part of my "ministry memorabilia". I have always called her "the Grandmother of all black women preachers".

Again, I am so blessed of God. I am hoping to have a PhD student that will do their dissertation on Ernestine Reems. When that happens, I will get back to you about your materials. I love that "the Grandmother of all black women preachers."

When I met her, I was so impressed with her that I was ready to pack my bags and go from NJ back to California with her. Awesome, authentic, anointed woman of God. She laid hands on me and others and set us apart as Intercessors and I have been interceding ever since. Wow, Bishop James mentioned ApostleChristine Liddell. She was her "Aaron & Hur" for many years. She is in California still and would be a great resource on Ernestine Reems.

This is phenomenal! Dr. Cynthia James is such a tremendously gifted mind and powerhouse preacher/teacher. This discussion is a seminary course of its own on the identity and habits of a faithful Bible preacher/teacher of which by God’s grace there are many. Yet, to hear the uniqueness of each person’s calling and experiences centered on the gospel and making Jesus known is priceless.

Amen Dr. Frank someone should write Bishop Ernestine Reems' story. I served with her for 30+ years and at this time she needs prayer and I know that it will be a joy for her to know that others care enough about her to share her life's story. God Bless Dr. James and Dr. Claudette two of the most powerful and profound women that I have had the pleasure to have met and been graced to be in their presence. I love them so much and I thank God and pray for them daily.

This interview is absolutely incredible. Thank you Dr. Thomas for your commitment to chronicling our journey through these profound videos. I was particularly impacted by your labor in the development of TAAP journal years ago which I read as a young teenager. It fueled my desire and passion for the Black Preaching Experience. And I shared your video on C.L. Franklin and Jay-Z with many young preachers. Thank you sir!

Tell the audience how does a women become a Bishop according to 1st Tim 3:1-2?
@coff2x3875 жыл бұрын
Matthew 24:4 Jesus answered and said unto them take heed that no man deceive you. Deception in the spiritual realm is amazing. 2nd Tim 4:3 for the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine but after their own lust shall they heap to themselves teachers having itching ears. And they shall turn away their ears from the truth and shall be turned unto fables. How does a person read scripture and God inspired men to pen the qualifications of a Bishop a man that is married to a women. When reading and studying scripture read what the scripture saids then read what it does not say. 1st Tim 3:1-2 this is a true saying if a “MAN” desire the office of a BISHOP “HE” desireth a good work. A BISHOP THEN “MUST BE” THE “HUSBAND OF ONE ‘WIFE” etc. it did not say a women or mankind must have a spouse. Words such as he & husband are of male gender. 2nd Tim 2:15 saids rightly divide what type of person are you reasonably intelligent people but will take scripture an interpret it what’s written to fit your own traditions and agenda’s in the end deceiving the masses. What you have are spineless men and Jezebels who are more concern with themselves than truth. Mark 7:7-8 howbeit in vain do they worship me teaching for doctrine the commandments of men. For they lay aside the commandment of God ye hold the tradition of men etc. come people read your bible. 1st Peter 4:21 if any man speak let him speak the oracles of God. It’s obvious the seminary schools are poisoning the minds of those whom might be seeking truth but the end result are teaching & preaching another Jesus 2 Cor 11:4. What chapter and verse would anyone be able to read the qualifications for a women to preach let a lone call themselves bishop? Articulation & smooth talk are not qualifications.

"Women" refers to two or more adult human females. The word you should be using is "woman".
@lisah1692 Жыл бұрын
so true, this is the problem I have with women "preachers and so called bishops" it is against scripture. We can spead the gospel and be more effective without going against the holy scriptures of the Most High.
