Let's not kid ourselves, these battles will never go away especially as we continue to obliterate and contaminate the very few natural resources we have left throughout the globe. It's up to us to take Sensei Suzuki's baton and continue with the mission. So, no, I don't think it failed, it simply must continue because they won't stop coming after the little we have left. Thank you Ian for interviewing this great master. 🙏🏽

How inspiring! You both give us hope where politicians could not care less. We must act in unison to have an impact. This interview was interesting and I am proud that you call yourselves Canadians.

I like David Suzuki, but I really get tired of his fetishistic hope peddling. Ya gotta have hope! Really? He says himself that environmentalists have been fighting and re-fighting and fighting again the same fights for the last 10, 20, 30 or more years. Going around and around in circles with little or nothing to show for the effort sounds pretty hopeless to me. I'd like to hear realism instead of Suzuki et al trying to get me high on hope, which in truth is nothing but make-believe and cover for inaction. Realism would be mature and bracing and sobering, not a sign of "giving up" as Suzuki claims. The real truth is that we're stuck in a mess and can't get out of it and the mess is getting worse and worse faster and faster. And the mess is beyond our control and maybe beyond any human ability to cope with in any way whatsoever.

He's a hypocrite. Moaning about emissions but flying around the globe. Rich hypocrite.
