I think what makes Sean Evans so connectable is that he sounds like a regular guy, yet he speaks as fluently as you'd want in an interviewer. He sounds like a regular dude but he speaks like he knows exactly what he wants to say next. So his conversation are full and fluent.

Not nearly as much "like" on Hot Ones from what I've seen, could be because of editing or Sean being the one leading the conversation rather than responding.

I like Sean Evans because he has reverence for, and talks about, the people that have inspired him. With any form of creative entertainment, I’ll like it if is good, but I’ll be a life long fan if the creators can convey a certain amount of humility, respect, and appreciation; something that Sean does so effortlessly. I hope people that are inspired by him do the same.

I love the way you interview and you ask actually interesting questions! Your guests seem very comfortable, it feels like a nice conversation instead of an interrogation. Please keep doing these xx I do have a tiny editing critique. When the guest is giving a long interesting answer, you don’t have to cut to Phil every time he nods or says “hmm hmm”. It is great to cut it up a bit, but it can be distracting.

Man, this is super interesting. I really appreciate how Sean and his cowriter research people. That's so smart - looking for body language, for things that they're excited about, or who've been asked about a million times. If their shifts into interest are subtle, whether they feign interest, or don't look like they care. I love watching behind the scenes footage and interviews, and Hot Ones, because I get a glimpse into these things. It is a little voyeuristic. But I was the kid who could sit at any table too - and did- and always learned more about people from it.

@A Fancy Cow Why? For not wanting to destroy someone's life over words? If someone says something mean to me, I won't attack them or try to destroy them, I just let them make a fool of themself without responding. No need for me to force them to bow to my whims because I didn't like what they said. Like you attack my opinion and try to belittle me, I won't attack you physically or financially for those simply words like those type of people would, I let you say your piece regardless how mean spirit they are. You have the right to say those words and not be silenced. You can't make allies out of your opponents if you just attack them relentlessly in attempt to destroy their life, you only entrench them in their way of thinking and make it personal. @Jonathan Tinsley At 46:28 mark for this video, when they are talking about seamless.

I was super intrigued the whole time for this video and its cool to see Sean Evans speak about the audience and how they look forward to the show and all that. I totally look forward to Hot Ones because what I enjoy is the format of the time. It's just the right length to sit down and spend some time relaxing while watching some interesting celebrities react to spicy food and I like the premise of we will make you a meal sit down and chat and dig a little into more than what we see. My favorite up to date was Logic and Charlize Theron on the show and Bobby Lee. Great personalities with really cool people and people who you want to sit down with and all that.
