As a 25 year BMW M Customer, it upset me when Herr Biermann left BMW. Upon further review, it is wonderful news that his skills and talents will result in fun and affordable cars beginning now and well into the future. I am looking forward to becoming a Hyundai N Line Customer.

He is as same as Henry Ford in terms of popularization. Ford popularized automobile. And Albert Biermann challenge to popularize motor sports with affordable high performance cars.

Please keep making good N cars with manual transmission. I do care about fun and engaging than better in numbers. If Kona N comes with manual transmission, I was about to get that one.

BMW M needs to seek counsel from this guy. It's a mess now he's gone.

@@m2comp369 Too much cost cutting and not much industry leading innovation. Their slight edge in electrification back in 2013 has already been outpaced by MB and VW, and even the M division nowadays uses more generic hardware and safe approach over a more radical, pure driving dynamics that Porsche and AMG offer. Albert Biermann was someone like Andreas Preuninger of Porsche GT division, but due to BMW's inability to invest in high initial cost R&D, they've lost him to Hyundai.
