Decades ago.. these gentlemen would shoot in the 60's without all of today's technology. Impressive.

I miss Arnie. I'll forever love the Masters, but It'll never be quite as special as it was with Arnie there. There aren't enough words to describe what a great man he was.

Nicklaus and Player. As great, gracious, dignified, and electrifying as any players who ever lived. They had much more than mere talent. They had class.

At the PGA merchandise show one year my three sons and I ran into Arnold and Gary on the same day. Each pulled us aside to a bench out of the main walk way and talked to us (mostly my sons) for about 30 minutes. We had a connection with Gary because his wife and daughter are members of the same church but there was no reason for Arnold to treat us so well, except that he was Arnold. When Arnold passed to a tee time beyond the veil, my oldest son called me. We both were somewhat shaken. My son told me that he has always had the impression that Arnold thought we were doing him a favor to talk to him. What a man. What a memory.

I'll never forget Jack's senior tour, and how he placed the ball where he wanted every time...and of course, he won. Thanks to Jack, Gary, Arnold, Ben and others I got my one and only eagle 80 yards out...and a few birdies along the way. For playing once a year I'm OK with that. Just don't ask me my score!

Golf Royalty for certain.. Missing Arnold.. He brought the game to the masses & laid the groundwork for todays PGA tour for sure.. Don't discount the Tiger affect as well. Quite possibly the greatest golfer of all time certainly in the modern era!⛳

Losers who couldn't make their high school golf team, have never had a girlfriend, have no skills or personality, so they work as janitors, and they lash out from the keyboard their moms bought them. (No offense intended to career janitors who keep our properties in A1 condition.)

Where as Mr Hogan's was all about rehabilitation from that near fatal car accident he and his wife were in nobody even the top consultants and surgeons ever thought he would be able to properly walk again golf was almost a certain pipe dream what did they know a year after been out of action he's in a play off w Sam Snead
