Just into the intro now, and I am so happy to hear you are about to discuss Allen West! As a long-time Obituary fan, I feel Allen's absence from the band with each release since FiT. He has a very unique soloing style, and his primitive riffs made for memorable doomy/crushing songs. Great inteview as usual!

Man what a great interview!!!! I myself have often wondered how they look back on the confederate imagery they were getting into in the mid 2000s. Here in the states that’s a tumultuous issue. Great stuff man! We thank you!!!!

Thanks for the insightful comment regarding the Confederate flag. I had prepared a question about that and 'Redneck Stomp', but time constraints prevented it. I wanted to frame a question around any issues they had with the ideologues on the left trying to cancel them or worse. God bless poor old Allen West, it's noteworthy how he maintained the use of the flag with Southwicked.

True death metal legends. Obituary are one of the godfathers of the genre. I saw them way back in 94 on the “World Demise” tour. Got to hang out with them all after the show. Great guys. Great interview!

Excellent! My first comment on this thread will be of thanks to you for hosting and posting this great interview with two of my favorite brother's in classic METAL. Any chance of a reissue of the TARDY BROTHERS album? I would love to get a hold of that, cant even hear it on my Spotify streaming service.
