jodie's character i thought was the funniest alongside john's those2 were like playing the heroes, where kate &christoph's characx are like the villains in a way. but in the film, its like the other way around. 4actors in a room which almost looks like they almost broke the fourth wall a couple of times. through laughter, tears and sometimes fury, these4 ppl were the best cast in a film i had seen that year. just like the title of the film, it was carnage but w/a film by roman. all hell breaks loose &it is perfect

What Christoph Waltz said about the difference between movies in germany and the USA is very true Most german movies are full of clishees following a life and loveless skript that is as predictable as the time when the sun rises. And once a movie inadvertently has sold somehow they do the same movie over and overagain with different actors snd names or start an endless franchise of it. Because the whole industry is in the hand of a handfull of private companys/foundations like the Friede Springer Verlag, or the Bertelsmann Stiftung that either do this👍or👎 when it comes to sponsor a movie and they all have a very bad taste This otherhand causes actually good actors and directors from germany to move somewhere else like Daniel Brühl or Diane Krüger or Marc Forster who is actually swiss german I havent mentioned Christoph Waltz because he is austrain and I don't much about austrian movies but if that counts Thats fine

The character Christoph played was a mercenary who happened to be contracted with the Nazi party.
