I am so stoked for this. S&W remains my all-time favourite retroclone and my favourite version of D&D, and it's great to see it come home to Mythmere. I'm also super excited for James Spahn's adventure. He's one of the best designers out there and I've always been impressed with his work.

Been bouncing between OSR systems for the past several years but with this new edition I think we'll be sticking with Swords & Wizardry for the foreseeable future. We finished Necropolis over the holidays and will be running Cyclopean Deeps for that party starting in the summer. Then we'll try to tackle City of Brass with an entirely new party.

Such a great conversation - and I'm usually NOT happy about songs getting stuck in my head through references like this - but tbh I can't dislike Matt too much - he is giving us a fresh new printing/edition of S&W - so totally stoked about that!! Love my blue H/C so much.

I just backed "All In!" Some people may not like the Otus cover, but I just wish you'd ADD the Otus cover as a dust jacket for my bound version!

Great interview! I like the simplicity and 'purity' of my S&W book. I like that S&W keeps getting published and alive. I'm also interested in 'major' updates that could be costly: - All the monsters have a drawing (small or big) - A drawing for each weapon, armor, items... relic ... - More optional rules to make S&W more personnal. I know that Matt added some in the book I have and that was probably my favorite part to read. I was curious to read the different options and sometimes the reason behind. All groups and DMs have special rules for death, initiative, critical hits, fumble, reaction and morale. Seeing many options would be great! I was thinking... I would be interested to see a modern take on S&W by Matt, or by James M. Spahn! - Something like an Advanced S&W with modern rules... I would buy that for sure!

Capt, small request ..... can you drop the bass down a bit....sometimes it's just a bit overpowering. In this interview, your bass was was more intense than the guest. Thanks for listening :)

Given the shear volume of sound systems and options that people have. Listening on speakers. Listening on headphone. Cheap systems, hi quality systems. Its just not possible to modulate for everyone. It might be easier to go into your sound control and lower your bass. This sound was produced with a blue yeti microphone. The headphones I used to modulate the sound were my Pioneer DJ speakers to try and produce the best quality I could from a zoom stream.

I'm resisting largely on the basis of liking the older Otus cover art better than the new one. I guess I could get the old one framed and just look at it while I'm playing... :)

GM screen, pdf form always a requirement at a minimum in my opinion. If a nice physical/pdf version is possible, I'm a fan of that as well but I'm happy to at least get a pdf. Great interview. :)
