Doctor Rassman is such a kind man, he provides a free consultation for people simply for emailing him and is constantly active on reddit answering questions for people going through hair loss and considering hair transplants. Don't think anyone so accomplished has donated more of their time to the average person.

This had shifted my considerations of seeking treatment overseas to really sitting down and studying surgeons with general surgical backgrounds than simply those “specialized in hair transplant surgery”. I sure hope this conversation includes women’s hair transplants too as I understand our considerations vary differently from male patterned hair loss

Thank you for all the education that you've been putting out for the past several years, it really helped me to start pushing back on my hair loss. I hope some day soon i'll start making enough money to fly from Russia to the NYS and finally get a transplant in the City facial plastics clinic. @drgarylinkov Please do a video about ways to address double chin and chubby jowls in younger people (20 to 30 years old). Can you talk about the FaceTite procedure with the InMode radio-frequency device combined with liposuction? I am 25 years old and a plastic surgeon and also a dermatologist proposed this solution to me but I am not sure: InMode FaceTite + liposuction + Morpheus 8 (all combined in one session). This is getting very popular in my country (Romania). I have a normal weight but I have a genetic duble chin and chubby jowls, I would like a more defined jaw with no double chin. I don't know if there are any good ways to achieve that which are not damaging in the long term.

One important point regarding fue vs fut reality is that fue besides being more in demand is also more profitable for most clinics charging more and the ability to have technicians remove grafts allowing more surgeries to be done in one day. Starting with FUT will give greater graft yield over lifetime besides obtaining hair from best donor zone.

I am in my 60’s and the newer drugs would never work on me. I have Crohn’s Disease and I had a full head of hair at age 18 and right after my first major resection surgery I lost all my hair in 6 months. My first surgery had complications with a major infection and I ended up staying in the hospital for 6 weeks in a special room where everyone visiting has to wear a paper suit and a mask. This was in 1975. That was very traumatic losing my hair at that age. Being made fun of really hurt too at that age. I am lucky there is a drug called Humira and it stopped my Crohn’s from doing damage to my small intestine but this was after three major resection surgeries. I started taking Humira in 2008 so it has been 15 years and there has been no sign of my Crohn’s after 6 colonoscopies. I wonder if my Crohn’s and infection was the cause of me losing my hair so fast. Great interview by the way. The doctor sounded like a very smart man. I wonder if he is working on inventing newer clean energy patients.

Could Bimatoprost (the component in Glaucoma eyedrops, which showed to grow longer and fuller eyelashes as a side-effect) be a potential remedy against hairloss and/or baldness too?? I mean, hairfollicles are hairfollicles, right? I realize that the therapeutic amount will greatly differ and consequently make treatments pretty pricey (for us mere mortals) but I'm sure you could afford it; alternatively, being a licensed doctor, you can probably get yourself a regular prescription from a befriended ophthalmologist [wink wink, nudge nudge]😁), surely it would be worth trying? PS: I'm glad for you that you're growing back your hair but, tbh, I liked you better before (not everyone looks good without their hair, but *you* do): Just my 2-cents...😉

I don't remember reading anything positive about this doctor over the last 40 years. As far as FUE is concerned Dr. Woods out of Australia is the true pioneer much to the resistance of the industry as it could not adopt it fast enough nor could it compete with the ease/profit of FUT. The whole industry is based on math which is not going to work for most unless expectations are not very high. This is hard to find with those most desperate when hair loss first strikes which would be the young. But that doesn't stop most of these doctors from not fully explaining the math. I have not put too much work into my own YT channel but I will at some point. There are not enough warnings out there with so many marketers making money. I believe I am the first hair transplant patient who wrote a book that covers the industry & some of its history. I am not pushing it but it's out there "Hair Transplant Real" What a horrific industry that has destroyed countless lives. Most have no idea. The book was cathartic. It took me decades to get around to it but I knew someone had to put it out there. Thanks.

@@maalikserebryakov Finasteride is known to potentially cause sexual side effects, but it does not affect every single user in this way. All we’ll structured clinical trials and studies show a range of incidence rates for these side effects, and they are typically not permanent for the majority of users. There is a lot of brush over from PCPs about this issue and it’s poor practice to not be more informed about this with your patients. This does not change the fact that these symptoms only occur in a minority of those who are prescribed the drug, regardless of how many users on Reddit forums would angrily tell you otherwise, because they refuse to believe they just got unlucky.
