A conversation with Walter Murch, ACE

Three-time Oscar winner Walter Murch, ACE joined me for a new Sound of the Movies interview episode. For more than five decades, the legendary Walter Murch has been working as a film editor, sound designer, re-recording mixer, writer and director. As a result of his enormous contributions to the world of movies, he has long been regarded as one of the greatest artisans ever. Walter has edited and or worked as a sound designer or re-recording mixer on films such as "Apocalypse Now", "The Godfather", "The Godfather Part II", "The Godfather Part III", "The Conversation", "Ghost", "The Unbearable Lightness of Being", "Romeo Is Bleeding", "First Knight", "I Love Trouble", "The English Patient", "The Talented Mr. Ripley", "Jarhead", "K-19: The Widowmaker", "Cold Mountain", and many more. He also made contributions to the screenplays of "THX 1138", "Apocalypse Now", as well as "Return to Oz", which he also directed.
