I’ve been sitting here thinking about why the loss of someone I’ve never met has meant so much, and it’s in seeing this video- the little details in a simple birthday party, the presents thoughtfully chosen, the way Andrea cared so deeply for each of her children- that I recognize it’s the loss of such a tremendous mentor I feel. I started watching this channel when I became a SAHM and was looking for some sense of how to be good at it- some sense of how to set a standard for myself and what I wanted to be and accomplish. I found Andrea living in a modest home on a reasonable income- two things that are so rare in this KZbin culture- and, most of all, living a life of contentment. This video is the embodiment of all of those things I gleaned from this channel for the last few years. Love your people in your words and in your actions. I’m so grateful for the example she was.

LO BIN I just started watching Andrea for a few weeks before and realized this is what I ever wanted to be as a mom of 7. After loosing our oldest daughter of 7 kids to a severe asthma attack Oct. 2017. I know it can be gone all to quickly. I pray I can continue to capture and make sweet memories with my little ones like this and always remember life is short to capture every moment because you never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory.

This video takes my breath away. Andrea and I are so close in age, and we have five girls we homeschool. My husband also lost his mother when she was young at 42. He and his brothers were 14, 18 and 20. As hard as that was on them then (and still is to this day) I can't imagine the pain you are all going through. I have never cried so many tears for a woman I have never met. I am so blessed to be able to say bedtime prayers with our girls and tuck our babies in tonight. Thinking of you all every single day.

@@rachelday9585 If you recall my own evil, violent, manipulative, coercive, bully of a Mother died age 97yrs on 25/03/2020. On Monday 13/07/2020 her Ashes were Interred in my Father's grave. I hope God can teach her how to love her 3 adult children including me and her 8 Grandchildren too all , thankfully still alive surviving here on God's earth, all hanging on through the COVID 19 VIRUS. I'm so glad I've outlived both her a violent uncaring Mother and him an Alcoholic , abusive Violent Husband. But what a Blessing I had four Step Children & went on to become a Mother of 2 sons that I adore. How lucky am I ? because Husband gave me the first 5 happy, kind magic years of our marriage. Followed by the ups and downs of the "Rollercoaster years '’ a kinda heaven then hell. Finally diagnosed with Cirohis of his Liver in 1990 I was left with no option but to walk away from our marriage at only 39 years. No regrets. Linda Dobberstein I’ve noticed Claudia’s personality is quite similar to my youngest.....while mine is only the youngest of 4, there is quite a significant age gap of 10 years between oldest and youngest. I’ve noticed that personality in many families with 4+ kids. I actually started observing when I noticed it in mine, with larger families(like 8+) there are frequently two or three with that firecracker spark. While for me it can sometimes drive me coo-coo, I’m also well aware that her personality gives her the ability to handle her own in a house full of older boys. She’s not afraid to speak her mind or tell people exactly how she feels, while it may be challenging to my husband and I sometimes, that spirit will serve her well as an adult and I feel the same about Claudia. Miss Claudia will never allow anyone to make her fit into their box and I love that about her....I can see some of the same traits in Hannah, she’s going to be a firecracker as well❤️

This video was bittersweet and just such a gem to watch at the same time. It was such a pleasure to see Andrea interact with your children, Tom, as always.
