Tom I commend you for how you've stepped up to keep the family going & honoring Andrea's life. All men don't I can tell you. A long time ago my mother passed away very quickly with melanoma cancer leaving my dad with just three kids but he walked away. Just left us & headed out to Lord know where. I was the youngest at 13 my brother was 15 & my sister just graduated from high school & 18. My sister got a job & did her best to keep us together & afloat. Finally after a year of hiding the fact our dad had left us my grandparents, my mother's parents, found out somehow & came to Texas from Alabama & made me come back with them. My brother had left on his own hitchhiking to California at age 16, joined the navy but they found out his age & kicked him out. My sister was old enough she didn't have to leave. I did not want to leave the only home & our wonderful church family but I wasn't given the choice. I didn't understand my daddy who I thought loved us so much just leaving. He was in church all the time but my mama was the spiritual leader of our home because we realized later our dad was only in church because of our mama. Just like Andrea my mother instilled Christian values in us that have kept us our whole lives. I still miss my mama every day as your children do & will but I know God doesn't make mistakes. I never knew where my dad went or why. I did reconnect with him years later but he never answered my questions why he just got in his car & left 3 kids to make it somehow. He was a selfish man his whole life. I did finally forgive him but not once did he acknowledge what he did or why but I knew I had to forgive him even if he never acknowledged he did wrong. I spent all my adult life trying to make my dad love me, he never said he loved me until the day he died at age 73 with cancer also. Your children will never have to deal with losing their mother & their father because you felt you couldn't handle raising them when their mama died. I know it's hard but there are many many of us praying for your family. Sadly I didn't know about y'all until Andrea passed away & somebody talked about her on their channel so I've binge watched your videos & wish I had known Andrea before she passed away. She reminds me of my own sweet mother with her love & devotion to her children. She sewed all our clothes too, grew our food, canned it & never owned a washing machine until a year before she died. An old wringer washer hand operated. Our first TV a year before she died. We were poor but so happy. Keep up the good work guys! Love from a former Texas lady transplanted to Alabama long ago.

It is clear you and Andrea are still raising these children together - you had a oneness of purpose while she was living, and you are carrying that on now. Tom, I'm sure that there are times that you are so overwhelmed, and sad, and burnt out, but you are doing an AMAZING job. Being a widower is something that no one should have to go through, and I cannot fathom how hard it is. You are so strong. I just started watching recently, and coincidentally, my boyfriend and I always shop at Walmart and go about 15 minuted up north via the highway each weekend. I play Andrea's role, checking off the lists and laughing at him goofing off, and my boyfriend does the stacking and cracks me up the entire time. After starting to follow you, I treasure our silly shopping trips even more. (They're my fave vids ☺) The first time we went to Walmart after I started bingeing your videos, I got so teary eyed. We used to rush through because I got over stimulated in crowds, but now we take our time. He's an IT/Systems Support guy kinda like you, Tom, so naturally we spend a good deal of time in electronics lol. Thank you, Mills Family, for teaching us to slow down, laugh more, and just enjoy each other's company ❤

Andrea showed how to love others with how she treated you Tom, how she put so much thought into Christmas presents for the children, how she went to visit Grandma Fern so often, and how she taught the children to help their family members. Judah may be interested in looking up Nigel Carren on KZbin. He has a workshop in France where he makes armour for films. He also makes miniature armour helmets that are so small they fit on his fingers. Its someone that i stumbled across by accident and thought it might be of interest to Judah if he is in to making armour himself.

Just sent you two packages of toilet paper (Angel Soft) and two packages of paper towels (sparkle) from Walmart.com, since you mentioned in the live stream that you needed to go to the store. I had to watch the old vlogs to remember what kind you guys like. Should arrive on Thursday, 9/26. 24 total rolls of toilet paper and 16 of paper towels. Hope this helps! Love to your family!

Such a loving family.....the boys are such good siblings. Loving gentle caring....your family has suffered a great loss but I do know you’ll get through it and I know Andrea’s love is inside each one of the children.....And Tom just know that it’s going to be OK but the grieving process takes time. I lost my beloved husband 2 years ago. I never thought I would recover. But I have yet my heart still grieves for my beautiful Jay....he lives inside of me so I feel comforted from it just as I know the children have their mother’s love inside of them as you do too. God has plans for all the children.....and you too. Your faith and love for our Heavenly Father will sustain and fuel you all! ♥️
