I wish it looked like that now. A lot of snow there now and ice on the lake. And another snow storm coming today. Moms lucky she got to leave. In the 22 yrs I lived up here I think this is the worst winter. And one of two years we got more snow in Superior then Kenosha. We usually don’t get lake effect like Bayfield county. We had a drift in the yard up to my arm pits. And it’s been damn cold on the days it’s clear. Many -20 days. I did go back and drive across to Madeline Island it’s pretty cool but not much open. The convenience store, surprisingly so was the coffee shop I didn’t see any restaurants open. The state park wasn’t plowed out in past yrs so I didn’t go there. But the town park was but the trails are full of snow so it’s like snow shoe time there.

I love the old boats at Cornucopia. The port there is very nice too. I always thought it would be fun to drive all the way around Lake Superior and stop at some of the cute little towns such as this. Thanks for showcasing beautiful Lake Superior!

We agree! We'd love to do the trip all the way around. My parent's took me as a kid with our pop up camper but I haven't been all the way around since. Been from Michigan's UP though Wisconsin, Minnesota to Thunder Bay since then. We're going to continue from here to Gooseberry Falls in the next few videos. Yes. You have to keep a close watch out for the weather here! Been caught out there though some pretty harrowing times. Your okay if you get into the Apostle Island protection but this is right on the edge. We're loving Arizona and don't have to worry about drowning! The zombies though are another matter! Ah I love that you showed us this town. We didn't even stop here. We just drove passed. It didn't look like there was anything there so we just kept going. Would have liked to have seen the cute little shop buildings and those boats on display.
