I’m using it on my war machine suit just in welding the straps onto one side and the magnet for quick release on the opposite side of the strap, works awesome!

This is SO helpful, thank you for sharing! Do you have a type of hot glue you recommend? My "male" magnets keep popping off on my masks -- mind you, my masks are made of plaster with acrylic paint. The male magnet keeps popping off when I try to take the strap off the mask. Any recommendations?
