A cosy rainy day. Melancholy, nostalgia and accepting how I feel

I spent a cosy rainy day in my life, wrapped up in melancholy and nostalgia. I have been trying my best at accepting how I feel in life lately. If I feel low, I accept it. If I feel happy, I accept it. If I feel anxious, I accept it. Because none of it lasts. It's all flowing and impermanent. Reminding myself of this has brought me a lot of peace lately. I spent this rainy day going to a cafe with friends, making cardamom buns and resting in my solitude by journaling alone at the beach. It was an ordinary day made extraordinary by seeing the beauty in the little things. Sending you all the love xx
