🌸 Yogurt Cake Recipe / Gâteau au Yaourt 🌸
I first discovered this cake while working as an Au-Pair for a French family. My host mum would bake this every now and then and it always tasted absolutely delicious!
Here are the ingredients (using the yogurt pot of 125 g as a measurement):
1 pot of white yoghurt
2 pots of sugar
3 eggs
1 pot of oil (I used sunflowers in mine)
3 pots of plain flour
1 tsp of baking powder
1 pinch of salt
1 tsp of vanilla extract (I did not have any and used lemon zest)
Simply mix all the ingredients as listed, then bake for about 35 minutes at 180°C.
Enjoy this delightful treat that's both simple to make and incredibly satisfying!
